NEW OWNERS, NEW MENUS, NEW MANAGEMENT & NEW STAFF. Unfortunately The Old Mill, or as some know as Mill & Pub, left a not very nice reputation for this place. The business closed down in October of 2011 and was bought in November by Dennis and Theresa Kennedy. With the Kennedy's purchase of this beautiful historic building they brought in Chef Daniel Silverio with a completely renovated amazing menu for the taste buds! We are focused on showing anyone and everyone that The Old Mill Restaurant is a family oriented atmosphere that you will continue to want to visit on a regular basis. With our highly trained staff to meet all your dining experience needs on a day to day basis or for your larger family catering needs.
Worst dining experience of my life!.
Well, Old Mill, thanks for ruining my New Years Eve 2010. We had reservations at 8:30. We got seated at 9:45. When we got there they said they were running 45 minutes behind. Why the hell do I have a reservation for? The hostess was an idiot. She just kept walking around and running back and forth, putting/taking her eye glasses on and off and looking busy. They told us to get a drink at the bar for free and that's it. No one updated us on our table unless we asked. No one thought of bringing appetizers to the many, many people waiting.
Once we got seated, service sucked. The food was horrible. They had a set menu. The only good thing was the shrimp bisque soup. We got the surf n turf and my steak looked like a hamburger. We could have gotten the same thing at Ryans. The dessert tasted just like a dessert I would get at Kroger.
We were so tired and angry by the time we left - we couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm so glad I had a Deal On coupon that I bought for $25 which gave us $50 in food. Otherwise, this disaster would have costed us $86 plus tip. What we spent was still too much.
We will never, EVER go there again!
