Over Rated!. I work and live near the J Christopher's on Cumberland Pkwy. Since, this establishment is so close, I have tried desparetly to give this popular restaurant a chance. It fails in every category. The food, the service, the hostess, the management and especially the price.

I've gone to this location 7-8 times at least and everytime there is some sorta negative experience.

This place is known for breakfast and I have even sent back an omelette that was not cooked properly. This amazes me. My last visit and my final visit topped the worst experience yet!

I went by one morning last week on a Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.. I walked up to the hostess, to be seated to my surprise I was greeted by an lady that spoke very little English. It took about 2 min. for her to figure out what I was saying to finally seat me. The restaurant was about 25% full, with plenty of servers. I waited almost 5-10 min. for a server. I finally placed my order for a bowl of grits and coffee. It came out 15 min. later. Then it took another 15 min. to get my check. I was stunned when I saw my check was for $ 7.49 for a bowl of grits and a cup of coffee. Wow what a rip off!

I am just amazed how so many folks support restaurants like this in Atlanta. I can tell you I will not!

Glad you're in our neighborhood!. I used to go to J Christopher's at a different location. I was so happy when I moved back over to this side of town to see that there is a location near my home. I love Saturday morning breakfast here! I definitely recommend it to anyone that has out of town guests. Absolutely a crowd pleaser.
