Buckhead Experience in Gwinnett. I have worked in some of the nicest Buckhead salons for years as a receptionist. I know a skilled trained professional with cuts and color versus someone who is dialing it in after beauty school. I had thought that after moving to Gwinnett I would forever have to drive back intown to get even a decent cut and color. On a whim, I checked out www Revival (dot) com in downtown Suwanee - well their edginess and Aveda concept lured me in. I was blown away! The salon is relaxed, has this quirky decor that reminds me of a rock n roll tribute to a 1960s brothel. Joy at the front desk makes you feel like family and keeps the ship running smoothly. Latham gave me great Aveda color with fantastic coverage and match that rivals Redken - and Kyle's cutting skills were superb. He was young which made me a wee nervous - but he spent about 45 minutes with the cut alone - which is what you expect with a master stylist. This guy knows what he is doing! He was trained at Redken and his skills and talent are amazing. I have sent all of my friends with tons of hair, difficult hair, and just hair looking for a great cut at a reasonable price. My friends and I have been going back ever since. I cannot recommend this salon any higher - I love it there. The staff they hire is exceptional at what they do - they really are putting the best on their floor - from Redken to Van Michaels trained stylists and colorists - this truly is a great hidden find in Gwinnett.
