The fire engine red door helps Vivid stick out from the storefront landscape of Morningside. The urban loft style space gives off an industrial vibe with exposed brick walls, old hardwood floors, and lean-to mirrors in front of the stylist’s stations. Sidle up to the color bar (customers are able to watch stylists whip up concoctions from hundreds of bottled tints) and hell, go ahead and order a glass of gratis red or Stella while you’re at it. Offering the standard salon menu of services such as facial waxing, dyes, cuts, styles, and up-do’s, the Redken pros also employ 2 stylists…

JENN is your go-to girl!!

First time customer at Vivid and I left very pleased. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted prior to the cut and made great suggestions based on my hair type. Also, suggested some volumizing hair products the salon carries. Love the atmosphere in the salon and Jenn was very friendly and conversational. Highly recommend- will be a returning customer!

Rockstar Stylist, Stephen Ciccone!

Stephen is a super-stylist! He's a total rock and roll hair superstar!

I never wait when I arrive for my appointment, his technique is amazing, the salon and his station are always extremely clean, he's attentive to my needs, and he's great to talk with. I recommend him to everyone!

The services I've had: hair cut, trim, and highlights (low and high). I always leave with the softest, shiniest hair and a big smile!

The salon is situated across from Alon's and Family Dog and next door to Rosebuds...easy to find parking across the street and the entire staff is super friendly.

LOVE this place and Stephen is the best!

Just Wonderful

I've been going to Liz for years and I can't imagine letting anyone else near my hair. Liz is amazing with color and is always up for a change whenever I decide I want something different with my cut. Now at Vivid, she has a great team, the space is beautiful, and I look forward to my appointments every time. I completely recommend Vivid if you want to feel welcome and pampered and to find a stylist that you can trust to listen to what you want and have your hair look even better than you expected.

Since moving to Atlanta in 2009, I've tried several stylists in different salons around town, but I didn't enjoy any of them until I found Stephen Ciccone at Vivid. Stephen is FANTASTIC at what he does, always taking my ideas of what I want and making them look even better than I imagined.

I also love the atmosphere at the salon. Its exposed brick walls and hardwood floors create a hip vibe, and it's a calm, fun environment where I feel like I am there to be focused on and pampered.

I've been in salons before where it feels more like I'm at the zoo with noise and chaos, and I hate . Vivid is busy but calm and personal, and even the other stylists are so friendly and welcoming and will often stop to say hi, which is really nice.

Bottom line: If you want beautiful hair and a calm, professional, and friendly environment, you should be going to (see Stephen at) Vivid!!

Liz is awesome!

Liz is the first person to every get it right for me. Having very thick hair, and wanting a low maintenance cut, I was always trying to figure out what style worked for me. Liz took over and I haven't worrried since! Thanks Liz for taking the time to get to know me and creating a style that truly fits me and my lifestyle!
