Kyle Wilcox is the bomb!. I have known Kyle Wilcox for about three years now, I met him when I first moved to Atlanta. He is a talented stylist and has never let me down. Im very picky about my cut and color and he always delivers. Not only is he talented, but he is adorable and a great story teller, making every visit to the salon a great experience.

I feel like a ROCKSTAR!. So, I show up for my appointment with Pam, who cuts many of my friends hair. I brought along a picture a few pictures of the shorter cuts that I like. She spends at least 10 minutes with me talking about different options. She herself has a great style and I admire her for the time she invested in my cut. When I walked out I felt like a rockstar...my haircut suits me perfect! Anyone looking for a great new style should go to Melange and see Pam.

Visit the BEST Stylist in Atlanta here. Melange now has 3 stylists that specialize in ethnic/black hair! (Carlisa, Nia and Terion) From natural styles, weaves, color/highlights, cuts and relaxers and now Keratin Protein Treatments . . . they do it all (YAY).

Now on to my review . . .

Melange is located on Decatur Street in the retail space for the Pencil Factory Lofts. There is street parking and a garage for visitors that's free. The salon is a nice size -- not too big and not too small and also featureas a "Facebar" where you can get facials, microdermabrasion and other spa treatments. The only thing I wish this salon offered was online appointment booking.

This review will focus on my stylist for over a year, Carlisa Neal. If you're looking for a stylist that is skilled at taking care of the health of your hair and can also style short, medium and long hair, make an appointment with her today.Hands down, she is by far the BEST stylist that I've been to -- and I'm super picky and high-maintenance about my hair.

Not only does she have a great, laid back attitude she is always there to give thoughtful hair advice and suggests ways to take care of your hair at home. She is also excellent at working with hair that is natural, or if you're growing out a relaxer. Recently I decided to get a sew-in weave and for those of you who have ever gotten a sew-in know that it can sometimes be a painful and uncomfortable process . . . not with Carlisa. This is the first time I haven't experienced pain and hair breakage with a weave and my results were flawless. If you're looking for a stylist that can do it all, definitely give Carlisa at Melange a try.

Great Cut Color and Vibe. I see John regularly for cut and color and have been going to see him for about a year and a half. He is wonderful and even when I am not sure what I want - I always end up loving the end product. Highly recommend this salon.

Best Hair Salon in Atlanta. I went to Jamie for a haircut and color and my hair looks amazing. I have gotten so many compliments. I have naturally brown hair and the color Jaime gave me is similiar to Jennifer Anniston's blonde highlights.

Kathy Tepedino Rocks!. Kathy Tepedino is a stylist that provides options that fits your everyday life and style. She listens to what makes you comfortable and helps you takes risks and chances that you will absolutely love! Also, with color...she hits a home run! I get so many compliments on my color and it is due to her vision. I highly recommend Kathy as she provides you with exemplary service and you will love your look once she is done.

Pam has amazing vision. I prefer to allow hairstylists to do their job. I walked in the first day I met Pam and said "do whatever you want". My hair has been amazing since. She even took me to a shade of red that I would have never dared, and I cannot wait to show it off! I've seen her do professional and tame, but let her try her creative side on you..you won't regret it!

The BEST Hair Salon in Atlanta!!!!!!!!. I was recommended to Jamie by a co-worker back in 1998 and it was the best thing to ever happen to my hair! I have spent 10 years as a faithful client that drives an hour every 8 weeks for the priviledge of the best service and skill in Atlanta... I recommend her and her salon so highly that my mother and husband have both become long-time clients as well! The salon is very stylish and the entire staff is very friendly and professional. The receptionist knows me by name and that goes a long way! Thanks for being the best!

Best hair salon in the ATizzle. I moved to Atlanta and was referred to Melange by a friend. I absolutely love it, from the professionalism of the receptionist to the fantastic job that Jamie does on my hair! I will never go to any other salon in Atlanta...thanks Melange
