Good food, interesting atmosphere. I loved the ambiance and feel of this restaurant, just wish they didn't try to pack so many people in. The service was decent (the waitress could've been more attentive, or maybe they needed to hire another waitress to keep up with the dinner demand) but could've been better. The food was good; I was pleasantly surprised. I had one of their pizzas and the flavor was great. A bit pricey for what it is, but worth repeat visits if you're in the mood for something different.
Eat at Salt Factory!!!!!!!!!!!. Cool part of town, Fun environment, Delicious food, Full Bar, Excellent Service, Reasonable Prices, I will definitely be going back to Salt Factory!
AMAZING FOOD! Great environment! Beautiful decor!. this place is just awesome. the owners come around to make sure youre doing well, which is awesome. and seriously, the food is just amazing. loves it.
Worth checking out, but wont knock your socks off..
The place is really cramped on the inside, so even if you do not have someone at the table next to you it is loud. Getting in and out of your table is a little difficult and going back to the bathroom is a hassle (it is realyl cramped, and I am a thin person).
That said I went with a group of 4 and everyone was quite pleased with the food. I had an onion soup appetizer that was truly amazing, and the french fries rival any in atlanta. My wife always gets the steak when she comes as it is cooked perfectly. The pizza is only so so however.
The menu is a little limited (besides the beer selection), so i would check it out ahead of time. Prices are reasonable. Probably a 3.5 out of 5 not a 4, but they dont give that as an option.
Roswell's gastro-comfort-pub is worth a shot..
In Short
Part old world countryside pint pub, part new-school meat-heavy charcuterie heaven, Red Salt is an impressive and refreshing contender in the gastro pub circuit. Though once inside you forget you are in suburbia, Red Salt definitely gives some trendy relief to the famous Canton Street in Roswell. Burly servers discuss the merits of Belgian beer and the difference between a British pint and an American pint (Brits beat us in ounces), and while the list is selective, it isn’t as, er, stout as it could be. Be as adventurous as possible and stick with the interesting imports and save the Stella for a Buckhead bar. Split up a meat and cheese plate with the table or grab a bleu burger for yourself.
VERY BAD!!!. Service is terrible, food so-so, overall experience VERY BAD. There are too many good places in Atlanta to eat at; do not waste your time.
Editorial Review by Jonathan Baker. Roswell gets a gastro-comfort-pub to anchor a corner of the historic downtown district.
