A very nice time was had.... I keep coming back here and love it every time as the sushi is hands-down the best I have ever tasted.

I even convinced my wife to come with me and sit at the bar to try the chef's choice, and he is very conservative when it comes to sushi/fish, and he thought it was very good too.

Heaven, heaven, heaven....!. The only place I've ever had better sushi was at the fish market in Tokyo. Admittedly, I'm not a profesional sushi critic, just an armchair fan, but that's my experience as a "civilian".

Fish so fresh it melts in your mouth, warmed rice that (to me) enhances the flavor, and fresh (not fake?) wasabi. Omakase is good, but if you're in a party smaller than 4, go with a-la-carte and order your favorites. Absolutely recommend. Heaven, heaven, heaven....!

Love This Place!. My god i love their sushi. It's the melt in your mouth kind of sushi that is just out of this world... worth EVERY PENNY. The rice is warm, the seaweed wrap is toasty, the crab fresh!! delicious!!

This place is seriously the best sushi i've ever eaten. EVER! i currently live in austin, tx and have been anticipating my move to Atlanta so i can be reunited with this restaurant with which my roommate and i have fallen in love with. everything was perfect: the food was superb and the waitress who served us was so incredibly sweet, we went to and came back from our car to give her even more tip. though, truthfully the food is so good, i probably wouldnt have cared or even noticed if the service had been lousy.

Well Done Genki. I can not get enough of Genki.

Seating is prompt and the service is polite and attentive. The fish is fresh and the authentic sauces are delicous. Although I wouldn't recommend going here if you want fancy rolls- it is a must for a true sushi lover!

The best sushi in town. The best sushi in town, hands down. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth it. When I had a larger disposable income I used to frequent it twice a month. If you're a foodie, you'll love it. So the ambiance is not that of MF Sushi's, who needs it with food this good!

check this place out!. So I went to Genki with a couple of my friends and I'm a very picky eater and don't usually go for exotic cuisine, but my experience was amazing.

The host staff was very friendly and the mixed drinks were excellent; they have many of their own recipes and have put twists on many common drinks such as the mojito, cosmopolitan, and martini using sake, peach, and other flavorings. And the food! Even though I was venturing out of my comfort zone, the food was especially delicious. Anyways, long story short: check this place out!!

I had an amazing experience and I'm sure you will, too!

I would recommend Genki to everyone!. I went to Genki one day and i had a great experience. i like japanese food and at Genki it was really nice the service was fast and the food is awesome plus the people are really nice. Esspecically the bar and the front desk.

If u want to bring a date next time or just have a good time with friends I recommend Genki.

I would recommend Genki to everyone I know and even people I didn't know!

1st Class Sushi Restaurant. I've been to Genki on numerous occassions. The first time, I just stopped in to try it out. I ended up parking my butt in one of the seats by the bar and enjoyed some great food! I enjoyed some great wine as well as a great conversation with the friendly bartender the entire time I was there. It's rare that you see a bartender have a conversation with every customer who sits by the bar and waits for their takeout.

The 2nd time, I brought a date there for dinner. Upon entering, not 1 but 2 hostesses quickly dropped what they were doing to greet me and my date. The atmosphere was extremely cozy and romantic. Eventhough it was a pretty busy night, the wait staff was very quick and attentive.

The drinks and food both came out extremely fast to my surprise as sushi restaurants tend to take a long time to serve especially when busy! The sushi was extremely fresh and the have a great twist on many traditional drinks and plates. My date had a great evening and was extremely happy that I took her here.

staple sushi restaurant!. This is our staple sushi restaurant we go to in Buckhead. It's reasonable, family-friendly, is always busy which is always important for me when eating sushi.

The wait staff is always friendly. And the food is great. Love the Japanese curry!
