false advertisements!. I had a similar experience like JAZZCAR. Restaurant refused to honor a $25 gift certificate due to it being "restaurant week". I am not from Atlanta and tried to explain that I did not know about this week, had no notice of it before, and I will not be come back to redeem the certificate.

The owner is the rudest person I have ever met. I am in shock that they are still open for business due to this poor service.

Social: Worst Service and Worst Food and they Lie. We received the 4-day weekend review via email from Citysearch and saw an ad for this place saying that every Saturday, the chef serves two courses plus one glass of wine for $20. So, i got tons of friends and brought them in for the "deal". We get there and do not get served a drink for one hour. Finally the server comes up to us and after taking our drink order, I mentionn the deal. He has no idea. So, he goes to ask. The owner say that's an old deal. I told him that it was on citysearch but they didn't honor the deal. We ordered food and it was gross! I will never return. I feel like we were all taken advantage of an it was embarrassing.

The best place for authentic European & Mediterranean food!. A friend recommended Social to me and it was the best recommendation in a long time. I tried their steak and Couscous and I loved the food very much.

The servants and the owner are great and very hospitable. In two words: they make you feel home!

Social is also located in down town Atlanta and it's a couple of minutes walking to and from many great attractions in downtown: such as the CNN Center and Headquarters, The Georgia Aquarium, The Coca-Cola Museum and Factory, and The Centennial Olympic Park.

I had a great experience eating in Social Restaurant and I strongly recommend it to everyone who loves to taste some fresh, delicious, and authentic European, Mediterranean as well as local foods.

Atlanta's Best Food. This restaurant was one of the best me and wife have ever ate. We have been to New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the Social Restaurant was the best. The grilled calamari and rosted potatoes were to die for. I will eat there every time i am in Atlanta. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the best dinner in a long time.

Great food, great atmosphere. If you want to have a nice meal with your friends or co-workers downtown, check out this charming bistro that offers French and North African comfort foods, including some great tajines and lamb dishes. Their sandwiches and lunch specials are really good, and it is just such a friendly place - not at all like a chain or big hotel restaurant. It is located right off Peachtree near Ivan Allen Plaza and FAB.

My hidden gem. Social is hidden in downtown Atlanta with great food, ambiance and staff. The food is great...a must have are the eggplant caviar, the couscous (a special) and the grilled calamari...where else can you find grilled calamari? My compliments to Chef Khaled Chebbi! Also, if you like red wine, you should try the South African cab-merlot blend, Bouwland. I will be back for the grilled calamari :-)

Fantastic Downtown Dining. This is a wonderful gem tucked away on West Peachtree Place. Tried several times and never have been disappointed. All the small plates are amazing my favorites are the beet salad, meatballs and daily specials. Owner, "Ray" always makes a point to stop by and say hello and tell me about the daily specials. Wait staff are very knowledgable and friendly. If you are tired of the hotel resaurants and are looking for a local spot, Social is not to be missed.

Favorite Atlanta Restaurant. I've been to Social many times for lunch and dinner and the food -- an interesting mix of french and north african -- has always been either good or great.

Try the steak frites when they have it. Also, last time we went there for lunch my wife got the Pain Bagnat sandwich and it was really great.

The staff knows a lot about the menu and the wine list. The atmosphere is nice but in an approachable way. It feels like the kind of nice neighborhood restaurant you usually find in Midtown -- like Pura Vida or Fritti. Very cool to have a spot like this downtown.
