DO NOT GO HERE!. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I had such a bad experience with the front office staff that I have literally been posting reviews on every website I can think of - and I have never posted a single review anywhere on anything before! The front office staff has the worst attitude I have experienced in a long time. They are snobby and condescending - if they don't just ignore you altogether. It does not matter if you are asking them to explain your bill or the location of the bathroom, they look at you with utter boredom and condescension. It's like you are interrupting their day by your sheer existence. I do not appreciate it, especially for an office that is more expensive than your typical chain optometrist. So it's more expensive, and I get treated like a nuisance? That makes for an easy decision - give my money to someone else who actually wants it!

As far as the doctors go, they are at least a little better on the customer service front. I saw Dr. Seay, who was nice but seemed exhausted and like she did not care to be there. If you do go here, try to see Dr. Gupta - she owns the place and you can at least let her know if the front office staff treats you badly (which they likely will.) But expect to wait a while - I did not even see the doctor until 45 minutes after my appointment time.

I made the mistake of going here because I live next door. But even though it is incredibly convenient, I will not go back.

Save Yourself The Drama. V T.

6/9/2011 I have never written an online review. However, I feel compelled to warn everyone about my HORRIBLE experience with this business.

(In all fairness, I purchased glasses from them once before and had a wonderful, drama-free experience.)

I purchased glasses from them in February and still don't have a functional pair in June. When I expressed my frustration, Ebony told me that she understood but they had been working with one woman since January. January and it is now June...Really! I guess that I was lucky.

They seem to be nice people but I am not sure that they are competent. For the prices that they charge, I did not expect to go through 6 different iterations without them getting it right. To make matters worse, they will not refund my money so that I can purchase a functional pair of glasses elsewhere. I do not recommend them if you don't have an optometry backgound. In my opinion, you will need it to ensure that you select glasses that they can adjust to fit. I don't think that they are adept at dealing with fitting for progressive lens.

I can't do anything about the over $600 that I have lost as a result of this situation. However, I can help others make an informed decision about whether they want to risk being in my shoes.

Save time...skip this place for eyewear. Let me save you some time....skip this place! The staff was snobby as well as they offered no help when my boyfriend & I TRIED to purchase glasses there. I was put off by their lack of personality and selection.

Best Optometrist Experience. She takes my insurance, making it so much easier. She has the best bedside manner during the eye exam. She uses high tech equipment that I have not seen in my exams at other places. And the selection of frames there was great. I highly recommend Eyedeology to all!

Truly Unique and Professional. I will admit to usually falling for the cheap tv commercial glasses deals such as buy one pair get the second one free. However, Dr. Gupta has broken me from that. The service she provided was like none other I have ever recieved. She took time to explain everything to me and then even helped me pick out a pair of frames that fit well with my face shape. The frames, the atmosphere, and the vibe at eyedeology is crazy unique! After living in Manhattan a couple years and recently moving to Atlanta, I truly felt that Dr. Gupta has picked up a slice of NYC and dropped it right in the middle of midtown. The experience and service was unparalleled.

Best optical experience. I found Dr. Gupta on my insurance. I didn't know what to expect.. but she was the best doctor I have ever been to. My glasses and contact Rx was never quite right. We tried different lenses and finally found something that really works! I also got a really fly pair of Robert Marc glasses! I ended up spending more than I intended on my glasses, but now I actually wear them, so it was more than worth it. Thanks!
