not so hot – I went to eros with a girlfriend on a saturday night (hip hop night). Not for the 30 and over crowd. While the music was fine there were nothing but (barely) 21 year olds in there. We got there at 10:30 after signing up for the guest list. They open at 10pm and you can get in on the list for free until 11pm. The line was disorganized, the guest list was ridiculously long (everyone seemed to be on it) and the employees searched in the dark through pages for names. We were in a huge circle instead of a line because we were so far back from the organized line space that was at the front door. We were told that we could get in faster for $50.00 (I don't think so! ) After waiting in line (the circle) for 40 minutes we finally walked up the ramp (in the light) to go inside of a space that was about the size of my apartment, except it housed a large bar and some faux VIP areas. We were held hostage in there for an hour before they opened the outside area where there was more space and some seating areas. As usual the ladies were dressed up and the guys were in t-shirts and jeans. Won't be going back.

Great food, great people! – We went to Eros on Saturday, early enough for dinner and didn't even have to move from there to get our groove on later. This place turns from a fantastic dinner experience (with tapas dishes like the chorizo lollipop, fish tacos and buffalo crab claws we were all stuffed with good food for under $20- Yum!) into a very live, busy club on Saturday nights (Friday too, though I haven't been there then- I heard free tapas before 6 too!) They play a great mix of modern hits and rap. And there are tons of beautiful people!! We had such a great experience Eros! Ill be back asap!!

Great Night Out – As you walk into Eros Tapas World Bar you are immediately thrown back by the delectable decor. From the impressive, massive welcoming bouquet of exotic flowers to the Victorian style lamp shades, this place screams, 'Enjoy Me'. The very welcoming hostess was quick to seat us in a tapas style white leather booth. We were shortly greeted by a very friendly waitress with long black hair who was very helpful in choosing some wonderful tapas. Off the bat she suggested the 'Chorizo Lollipops", A MUST HAVE, like a little bit of heaven in your mouth. From the Lamp Chops, to the grilled Marinated Octopus and Blackened Fish Tacos, topped off perfectly with a glass of the Row 11 Pinot Noir, our Eros experience was phenomenal. This restaurant should be considered for best new tapas bar as well as most attractive staff.

Good Atmosphere and Food. Better Building. – Some friends and I were looking for a place to go on a Tuesday night and we ended up going to Eros based on a recommendation from a co-worker. The place itself is very impressive with some trendy decor (less the giant nudes on the wall) and some good looking people. The servers were friendly and the atmosphere for a Tuesday night was great. If you are looking for a mid-week place to relax with friends and have a few drinks, you may want to give Eros a shot. By the way, the building itself is one of Atlanta's finest examples of modern architecture, built by a famed architect in the 60's. If it weren't for places like Eros, many of Atlanta's landmarks would have disappeared years ago. Best of Luck!

A NYE experience to remember...not for the ultra conservative! – I went to Eros last night for New Year's Eve, and I thought it was definitely money well spent. When we arrived we received complimentary valet which was great, and were seated immediately as soon as we entered. For NYE Eros had three different specials to choose from for the evening. "VIP" was $150/couple and it included one bottle of champagne, one bottle of 3 olives vodka with pitchers of cranberry and orange juice for mixing and a choice of 10 tapas. "Top Shelf" was $100/couple and it included one bottle of champagne and a choice of 6 tapas, and general admission was $20 per person and it included a drink ticket and champagne toast at midnight. My boyfriend and I went with the top shelf package, and that was perfect for the both of us. We really enjoyed the short ribs, filet kebabs and chicken kebabs. They were all cooked perfectly, and the short ribs were some of the best bbq ribs that I've had in awhile. Like most trendy restaurants in the city, they had the dim lighting and upbeat music but Eros took it to another level with their wait staff. They had waitresses that were painted from head to toe in artistic body paint, and the only article of clothing that they had on were thong underwear. Our waitress was painted to depict wind, and the other two were fire and sea. They also had dancers behind screens that were projected on the walls, and of course the wall art, which is of a 'scantily clad' woman. Our service was decent considering how packed it was and we didn't have any problems with our bill at the end of the evening. At midnight the place went crazy, as the bar tenders got up on top of the bar, and started pouring champagne into peoples mouths and spraying people at the bar with champagne. This was followed by the waitresses who also got on the bar and started dancing - making it somewhat like a strip club. It was definitely an experience, and I would go back again to see what a 'regular' night is like.

This sex-charged tapas restaurant takes over the former Piebar space in affordable style. – In Short
Located in the flying saucer-like old Trust Co. bank building (recently home to now-defunct Piebar), Eros twists the tapas norm by sexing up the atmosphere and pricing down the menu. The inside looks like what you would imagine the Oval Office would be like in a Russell Brand administration complete with loud techno music and nude women adorning the walls. The menu is heavy on super-affordable small plates perfect for sharing. Cheese saganaki (fried Greek cheese served with lemon juice) arrives gooey and tastes as good as it sounds while the bang bang shrimp with a buffalo-like aoli are Eros staples. Other adventurous items include grilled baby octopus marinated in EVOO and chicken livers coated in a rich, spicy sauce. The name of the game here is branching out and sharing a gaggle of small plates with friends--at prices hovering around $5 why not try something new?

If you could only eat the decor – What a stunning place. Food is just not up to the decor. It is a great location, in between true Midtown and Buckhead, but parking is wierd and food is just too salty and over sauced

Thought I would stop in and let the traffic die down before heading out of Midtown. I was so disappointed.

Drink was good, if walking, I would go back for more, but food is off. Maybe I will try it in the warmer months, great patio

CHIC ATMOSPHERE PLUS GOOD FOOD! – When I decided to stop in for drinks last Wednesday at Eros, I wasnt sure what I was getting into...but the minute I opened the front door I was greeted by attractive and friendly people who make damn good drinks! The interior of the space is warm and inviting, tough to do in a space-ship like building! I ended up sticking around to eat, and actually ended up chatting with the owner for 30 minutes.

Now, to the the food: Suprisingly big platters for around $4! Try the Spanish potatoes, the Chorizo Lollipop, the ceviche octopus or the prawns. The food truely is delicious - a nice change from the same ol' same ol' you find at Eclipse/Loca and all the other Lunas.

Highly recommend Eros - perfect for parties as the music and atmosphere is awesome.
