“My husband took me to the most romantic restaurant”
“The food is wonderful especially the tomato mozz salad and the lamb.”
“The whole menu is awesome!”
“The service is great.”
Neo and The Mansion. I love this hotel. We use them exclusively. They treat us with the utmost respect every time I visit. They are attentive and helpful. I have tried a lot of hotels in the city but this one stands out as unique. Its elegant and not overdone. The rooms are beautiful, the food is good and always give us 5 star treatment. I recommend this place for business or pleasure.
Different but okay- I guess. I loved Neo when I went a few mos ago! Excellent Italian, excellent menu. I finally get a chance to go back and I am not happy. For one the menu has changed. What did they do that for? it was different! it was awesome! Now it is the same as all the other mid range restaurants in town. No standouts, nothing spectacular. Might as well go to Food 101 or Ecco (plus they are cheaper). And it is inside the Mansion which is nothing spectacular either. This hotel has about as much personality as a cold white bare tomb. Skip the Mansion and Neo.
food is great- hotel is going downhill. Neo restaurant with Chef Eric Chopin is a dream! Let me clairify- that is a dream within a nightmare. The food is wonderful especially the tomato mozz salad and the lamb. The whole menu is awesome! The ambiance is great. The service is great. It is like the restaurant that could trying to make it in this quickly spiraling down the drain hotel. Hard economic times are painfully obvious at this hotel. 5 star restaurant in a 1 or 2 star hotel. Everytime I have gone you see how they are cutting back on everything. There is no management to be seen, no fresh flowers anymore, the place is empty. Sorry,I will go back to the Ritz to eat.
Top-tier Italian dining spot gives a culinary boost to the fancy-schmancy Mansion on Peachtree hotel/condo complex..
In Short
Immediately fitting in the Buckhead restaurant landscape, cream walls, crisp white linens and a beautiful staff welcome your arrival to NEO's sleek and tastefully simple dining room. The attentive-yet-stealth-like waitstaff is classically on point, delivering NYC transplant Chef Chopin's creative touches on Italian classics. Northern Italian staples like grilled rack of lamb served with a creamy black pepper polenta are pleasant, but the highlights of the menu are found in the early courses. Caprese-style organic tomato and buffalo mozzarella is fresh and vibrant and the wild mushroom risotto is something even Ricardo Ullio would be proud of. To end the meal, the tiramisu is light and fluffy as it should be, but opt for the flour-less chocolate cake, inspired by the addition of a dose of olive oil gelato.
