A good time if your inthe area

I visited the Corner Tavern on Edewood and Boulevard this saturday for the first time. I had been to the other location in Little 5 points before and though it was pretty cool.

I had a blast this time though, the drinks were great (although I stuck to the PBR's mostly!) the food was good, especially the fries. The location and atmosphere were great too. The staff were brilliant, especially at keeping seperate tabs on the 20 of us that showed up was great. (I hate it when a group sit down together have food/drinks/play pool etc and then they bring 1 check for your group to work out.) We played Pool and ran the Jukebox everything was in perfect working order so a GREAT time was had by all.

I'm certainly reccommending this place to anyone looking to have a good time in the neighborhood.

• Cons: not realizing that there is free parking right next to the place!

The food is as good as the drinks!

My boyfriend and I eat at Corner Tavern Edgewood at least once a week and we love the food, the friendly staff, the music, the dart boards, the comfy vibe. Everything we've tried has been well-prepared which is saying a lot in this town of trendy food prepared poorly. The black bean burger will truly satisfy even the carnivores. The beer selection is great. You must go try it. We want them to stay in the neighborhood.

• Cons: Smoky sometimes
