Four Bars = The #1 Hot Spot to be. I had high expectations with all the hype around W hotels lately. I was surprized to find the level of service to be superior since my experiences have been less then perfect at the Gerber bars in other W hotels. The team at W Downtown took it to the next level impressing not only me but my fickle date.

We started with drinks in the Living Room bar, had an amazing dinner in BLT then went to Drinkshop where the mixologists crafted cocktails especially for us. Later, I took my lady up to the 16th floor pool bar, they told me that the bar was closed until the Spring season and I can't wait to come back and check out the pool parties I keep hearing about. Next time, I'll stay for the night. W Downtown has made it mark in Atlanta, I'll definately be back.

Hottest Hotel Bar by far. I visited the newest of the four W hotels this past Summer and was blown away by the level of service, sophisitcation and style that sets W Downtown apart from the rest. We had a few friends in from out of town and wanted to show them what Atlanta's hot spots were all about, plus show them a killer view of the city. We didn't realize there was a great pool party happening at WETBAR that same day. They have these parties with great music, all day Saturdays and Sundays and couldn't have fallen into a greater vibe. The drinks were strong, special prices were afforable, the staff was super friendly and the vibe was on point. I can't wait until WETBAR opens again this season, this will be the hottest spot to be for the sexy & sophisticated crowd.

Trendy yet Classy + Great Service!. This place is not for the broke & boujee.. just for the fly and fashionable. By far the best of the fab 4, still tucked neatly away from the bs and bustle of Midtown and Schmuckhead and close enough not to go OTP... W Downtown has made a niche on Hotlanta Hotspots. Look no further for a killer way to spend a romantic weekend, make a night of it and keep any celebration all inclusive. Do yourself a favor and get a room, spend the afternoon in Bliss, cocktails in the Living Room, then dinner in BLT. Follow it all up with reservations in the super fly cocktail lounge experience Drinkshop, where they make everything by hand and celebrate with killer sounds from the resident DJs that don't play crap you hear on the radio. Stay the night over the Summer and wake up to a sweet little soiree by the pool.. what a way to celebrate in style...

Atlanta's fourth W, and the most superior.. In Short

Starwood’s latest gem sits atop the Grady curve as a glassy, glare- emitting structure as sleek looking on the outside as it is inside. Enormous flocks of shiny bird-like installations steal the show in the atrium bar, decked out with sleek modern furniture that gives a tasteful nod to the Mad Men definition of elegance. The rooms don’t scream but instead sultrily whisper in the guests’ ears. Slightly dim lighting, see-through showers, aromatics, and suggestively curvy decor solidify the edgy reputation W Downtown fully embraces. Lounging by the 16th floor pool or doing some cardio in the gym that includes a unique birds-eye view of the 75/85 connector might do the trick to revitalize before the sun goes down again.

bliss spa. Recently, I went to a concert downtown with a friend and decided to get a massage and a facial before going to the concert--better than fighting traffic. We made the appointments for 5:30 and checked in a little early. Both of used the steam shower with eucalyptus after our services and got ready there. My massage was a full hour and 15 minutes with a hot wrap on my feet and I requested some aromatherapy too. My therapist was Fantastic, very thorough and listened to what I wanted. My friend said that her facial was the best in the city. It was a Triple Oxygen and she actually got sprayed with pure oxygen. Love the music and they had some snacks, perfect before a concert. I'm sure they mostly cater to hotel guests but I will certainly go again. It was money well spent

Ultimate Modern Urban Chic!. Recently, during a trade show at AmericasMart, we booked some friends from NYC a room here, for the function. They are still ranting and raving about the new Downtown W Hotel. We visited them one night, and we didn't want to leave. From the Living Room Lobby Lounge, to BLT Steak. And then the rooms. They have a 16th Floor Outdoor Pool, it was cold, but warm weather is on the way. We had a nightcap in Drinkshop. What a bartender. Oh by the way, they have condos above the hotel, with hotel room service. This place is the life.
