In the growing trend of restaurants that like to do way too much, Artistry takes an aggressive stance. This two-story monstrosity off Peachtree boasts a food-lounge-music-art concept--like a loft-dwelling art party that serves high-brow food yet likes to dance. The downstairs dining room is coated in rich browns and wall art while velvet clamshell booths wrap up scenesters, making things cozy without being overly invading. A group-appropriate menu scatters origins loosely, identifying as "New American." Shrimp avocado egg rolls and spicy sun-dried tomato hummus anchor the small plates that go…
WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!!!!

I have to be under the assumption that the Artistry has changed since the reviews left in September were left. The crowd was steady, the DJ was AWESOME (and handsome), the brunch was also excellent. I had a freshly made veggie omelet (and the veggies were crisp and fresh), the shrimp and grits had lots of large pieces of shrimp, and I had freshly made french toast on french bread and with apple topping. The chef's presentation of the french toast was so lovely that I almost did not want to eat it, but I got over that quickly, and I am glad I did because it tasted just as good as it looked. I didn't have the mimosa's because I opted for the "extra spiced" hot apple cider...YUMMY! I have to say that the restaurant staff was some of the most pleasant I have had for quite some time in this city. I can see this being a regular place for me! Oh, you can stay at the buffet until it ends at 4 p.m. so everyone has the option to eat until they have had their $15 worth because no one rushes you.
- Pros: Lots of great food for the money
- Cons: none
Lousy brunch, mediocre music, orange juice disguised as mimosas
by ATLSteve
My partner and I decided to go here after seeing the line at Flying Biscuit this morning (an hour and a half, at least). A quick Google on the blackberry identified this place and the concept sounded interesting -- and $15 bottomless mimosas sounded great. Total bill was $64.80.
We were sorely disappointed. The brunch buffet is astonishingly awful. I've had better free breakfasts at two star hotels. The eggs had no flavor and the potatoes were burned. The sausages were ok, in that they were sweet and pretty tasty. The biscuits were absolutely TERRIBLE and no butter was available.
Save yourselves $30-40 dollars and wait at Flying Biscuit. Heck, you'll have a better experience at IHOP.
- Pros: Bottomless Mimosas
- Cons: The mimosas are mostly orange juice and the food is lousy
Good Music & Art Dosen't Help Food! Where Are The People?

As the old saying goes, if you walk into a restaurant at a peak time, and the place is empty, you know there are problems involved. Artistry has a great Midtown location. The artwork is cool, and the music later in the day is nice. But the $15 Brunch, and the extra $15 for Mimosa's, is just not worth it. Maybe next time, we will have Brunch elsewhere, and just come for drinks and the music. But, hopefully there will be some people there. We felt sorry for the staff.
- Pros: Nice Midtown Location, Art & Music!
- Cons: Food, food, and food! Place Was Empty!
