Taste The Blend: Food- Music-Art

  • American Contemporary Cuisine
  • Live Music & Art Exhibitions
  • Premier Private Event Space

Artistry is a union of food, music and art divided into the eclectic dining and bar area with a loft style upper level event facility. Executive Chef Justin Jordan created an American contemporary cuisine, featuring a global menu of local organic produce, free-range meats and artesian cheeses.

Every Sunday, a $15 brunch buffet is served that includes bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary bar. Enjoy outdoor dining on the best patio in Midtown Atlanta!

Music is the voice of Artistry, as all styles and genres can be heard every Wednesday during the signature Artistry live music showcase. The venue's signature Blue Mondays is an exclusive monthly art exhibition that features the best artists, photographers and sculptors in Atlanta.

Whether it's a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, bar mitzvah or social event, Artistry has the capabilities to make any affair a special memory.

Editorial Review for Artistry – by Jonathan Baker

In the growing trend of restaurants that like to do way too much, Artistry takes an aggressive stance. This two-story monstrosity off Peachtree boasts a food-lounge-music-art concept--like a loft-dwelling art party that serves high-brow food yet likes to dance. The downstairs dining room is coated in rich browns and wall art while velvet clamshell booths wrap up scenesters, making things cozy without being overly invading. A group-appropriate menu scatters origins loosely, identifying as "New American." Shrimp avocado egg rolls and spicy sun-dried tomato hummus anchor the small plates that go on to include buffalo sliders and an artisan cheese platter. It's not winning a James Beard award anytime soon, but if you're there for a music showcase or art exhibit, it works just fine.

High Marks
"The staff was very nice, eager to please and the service was excellent." (tytr3ndy, Citysearch user)

"The brunch buffet was tasty! For $15 there was a nice selection of eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, muffins, grits, potatoes, chicken, rice." (Babsinblogland, Citysearch user)

Low Marks
"Artistry has a great Midtown location...but the $15 Brunch, and the extra $15 for Mimosa's, is just not worth it." (atlcuisineguy, Citysearch user)

Insider Tips

Know Before You Go

Patrons wouldn't be remiss to skip the pricey fare, which includes entrees like red snapper and jumbo-prawns, and come solely for drinks and events.

Parking

No valet that night? No problem--park in the back garage. Even though the signs say no parking, it's valid if you are eating at the restaurant for dinner. On busy nights, the valet is $5

Where to Sit

The patio sits on top of Peachtree and under the shade of the skyscrapers making it a comfortable spot in late afternoon.

My partner and I decided to go here after seeing the line at Flying Biscuit this morning (an hour and a half, at least). A quick Google on the blackberry identified this place and the concept sounded interesting -- and $15 bottomless mimosas sounded great. Total bill was $64.80. We were sorely disappointed. The brunch buffet is astonishingly awful. I've had better free breakfasts at two star hotels. The eggs had no flavor and the potatoes were burned. The sausages were ok, in that they were sweet and pretty tasty. The biscuits were absolutely TERRIBLE and no butter was available. Save yourselves $30-40 dollars and wait at Flying Biscuit. Heck, you'll have a better experience at IHOP.

Pros: Bottomless Mimosas

Cons: The mimosas are mostly orange juice and the food is lousy

As the old saying goes, if you walk into a restaurant at a peak time, and the place is empty, you know there are problems involved. Artistry has a great Midtown location. The artwork is cool, and the music later in the day is nice. But the $15 Brunch, and the extra $15 for Mimosa's, is just not worth it. Maybe next time, we will have Brunch elsewhere, and just come for drinks and the music. But, hopefully there will be some people there. We felt sorry for the staff.

Pros: Nice Midtown Location, Art & Music!

Cons: Food, food, and food! Place Was Empty!

A global menu sets a culinary foundation, while the flamenco dancers, live music and local art shows make it a lively go-to spot.  See the full editorial review.
