Absolute worst place in Atlanta. I have read these other reviews and I am shocked. This was the worst dining experience of my life. I took my wife out last week and both our steaks were undercooked. We ordered them Medium-rare, and they came out barely cooked at all. They couldn't have been on the grill for more than a minute at the most. We sent them both back and saw our server talking to the cook in the open kitchen, and watched the cook tell the server he would not re-cook them. We travel and stay at the Marriott all the time and have never had this experience. If your going to have an open kitchen you should have cooks who look professional (e.g. NOT huge baggy over sized uniforms, NOT cooks who look they are on something, and for the love of God NOT cooks who refuse to cook steaks to a customers will). Next time, we will surely stay at another Marriott property, like the excellent ones they have downtown or in Buckhead.

I've stayed at hotels all over the world...this is literally the best hotel for the price anywhere!. The Alpharetta Marriott is just lovely; though we live in Roswell, sometimes my husband and I check in for a night or two over the weekend just to unwind. The lobby/foyer area is beautiful; opulent and inviting. The rooms are spotless and very tastefully appointed, with luxurious linens and very comfortable beds. The indoor and outdoor pools are gorgeous and immaculately maintained. The room service menu is very good, with prompt, courteous service. Finally, the restaurant, Vidalia's, has the greatest breakfast buffet around, with salmon, cooked to order omelets and Belgian waffles, fantastic Eggs Benedict and fresh-squeezed orange juice among many other things. Best of all, you can get a concierge-floor room with a king sized bed for $99 a night! If you're in town on business or just want a weekend getaway, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Best restaurant in Alpharetta. I moved to Alpharetta from Washington, DC and Vadalia's quickly became my favorite restaurant of choice. The food is wonderful and the staff are top notch. If you want to take someone to a "nice" restaurant in Alpharetta, this is the one.

Excellent customer service and AMAZING food!. Every time my husband and I dine at Vidalia's, it is like we are surrounded by family. The staff at the Marriott know us by name and treat us like long time friends and are very professional. The food is delicious, especially the steaks, and it's nice to see the head chef walking around talking with all the customers. ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Excellent steak. My husband and his family had dinner here for his birthday. The food was excellent and the steak especially. For the portions the food was priced correctly. My recommendation for this restaurant with obviously highly trained chefs in the kitchen would be to make the portions smaller and then lower the entree price. Another recommendation would be to create a more ambiance (music, lower lighting and tablecloths) for the dinner seating. Otherwise, the service is fantastic and so is the food.

User review by cheftimrowland. Best steakhouse in Alpharetta bar none. I couldn't believe how easily the steak just dissolved, it was so tender. I highly recomend Vidalia's if you are a steak fanatic. The aubience was very laid back, casual yet upscale, a perfect date spot. I would have never guessed that such a great steakhouse would be hid inside a marriott hotel.

the Best in Alpharetta. I've dined at many establishments in the neighborhood and by far vidialis was the BEST. Yes it was inside the Marriott but, the Marriott hotel is wonderful I now plan to come more ofen. I found out that that they have a breakfast buffett every day. Thank you for a Great time and Great food !!!!
