In Short – Her name is Lola and she's a showplace. While lacking feathers and cut down to the attire of Manilow legend, this eatery has cemented itself as a happening hot spot in Buckhead. From the great mind that brought us Strip, Twist, Shout, Noche et al., this entrant into the entree games is a frothy, fun watering hole and eatery. The dining room is striking and oh-so-chic, with red lights, cushy dining chairs and wood-slatted walls. The bar is often-packed and lures Buckhead beauties for post-shopping nips. The Italian-inspired menu serves up an astounding antipasto selection, as…

I cannot find a good restaurant in Atlanta. Where are they??? I wanted to take my fiance to a very nice resto and a friend recommended Lola - yikes!!! What a mistake. The food was boring - nothing to brag about. The waitress was nice but we noticed that other patrons were treated better. Do not go to his resto is will be a waste. I was just expecting better food, better everything. Thanks.
- Pros: nothing really
- Cons: food
Good & Bad

I went to Lola few weeks ago on a date. My date had made reservations for 8pm on a Saturday and the place was only about 1/3 full. The hostess proceeded to take us to a weird table that was on the corner of a long unholstered bench. My date sat in the chair on the opposite side and he kept getting bumped when ppl walked by. There were many booths open and when we inquired the hostess told us there were all reserved. We were there approx 2 hrs and when we left several were still open. She said she 'would look into it' and never returned. If it wasn't a first date I would have walked out. I even said to my date in front of the hostess upon seeing our table and her denying us a booth 'should we go somewhere else" and shd STIL didn't give us better seating. Mind you, he had made reservations early in the week. Portions were meager even for tapas, food was kind of bland and certainly nothing special, pricing was ok. The bellinis are the highlight of the experience at $5 a pop and many delicious choices. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the DJ was good, too. I would only go for drinks if I were you, otherwise be prepared to holler across from each other at an awkward angle and be treated like second class citizens.
- Pros: free valet, location, ambience
- Cons: weird seating, rude staff
Suprisingly, Pretty Good Food, and Excellent Service

Lola is a great place for Italian eats. It is located at the brand new Terminus center next to the Flying Biscuit. It looks small from the outside but once you enter the interior will stun you. It is beautifully decorated with a lot of candles, modern decor, and has a killer bathroom area (you can?t say that about many public places!) They offer you a sampling of their sparkling wine on the house which is really sweet. We started off with antipasto including a soft cheese, sopressato salami, and prosciutto. The cheese should was served with a balsamic vinaigrette which added tart flavor. The prosciutto was absolutely decadent, it had a great flavor and was not too salty. We also got some crusty bread with a really good olive oil and spice spread melted into it. My boyfriend got the sausage pizza. It was a good size. If you like additional toppings then you will love the pizza. His pizza included some roasted red pepper and onion. I had the lasagna (Sunday?s are all you can eat lasagna night for $15 and includes a choice of house/ceasar salad). The salad was well made, just the right amount of flavor from the dressing and not overwhelming, and the croutons were also some of the best ever. The lasagna was not the best I have ever had, It was a little over spiced with flavors of fennel but I did enjoy that it had a ridiculous amount of gooey cheese, which is the best part of lasagna! I only wish it had more meat. And finally, the dessert was yummy! We got the tiramisu, chocolate, and coffee flavored gelatos (they let you choose 3 flavors). They were all wonderful. The service was wonderful. Every time you leave your seat they will take your cloth napkin and fold it back elegantly upon your return. The only cons are that the hostess was dressed quite unprofessionally for a classy place as this, and the music is very awkwardly out of place! They should definitely invest in a more appropriate play list for the atmosphere of the restaurant.
- Pros: All you can eat Lasagna on Sundays, really good appetizers, great service, cool atmosphere
