I would absolutely NOT recommend Ansley
Eye Care. The test of a business is in the quality of customer service when things don't go well.
I went in to have two pair of glasses adjusted, one pair of Revo sunglasses and a pair of prescription reading glasses I had purchased at Ansley Eye Care.
While adjusting the frame of my Revo sunglasses, the technician cracked one of the glass lenses. No caution had been given that this could occur. He told me he would speak to the owner Rob about replacing the glass lens with plastic Polaroid lens.
One week later, no action had been taken. At that time, I asked if the lens could be replaced with the glass lens. Again, I was told that he would speak with the owner.
I was given a second date when I could receive my sunglasses back, but they were not ready when I arrived. When I did receive the repaired sunglasses, the technician Mike told me that the plastic lens did not have the same reflective features as my original glass lens and that he would recommend to the owner that the store provide me with replacement sunglasses.
When I heard back from the owner, he dismissed responsibility saying that I should have anticipated that the glasses could be broken during adjustment. He said that there was nothing more he could do and that I should be satisfied with the plastic replacement lens. His attitude was far from a positive customer service focus.
As I mentioned, the test of quality customer service is how the business treats the customer when things go wrong.....Ansley Eye Care FAILED that test!
Rob, the owner, said that there was nothing more in his power to do to resolve the situation. There IS, however, something I can do....write a review to caution other prospective customers!
Not the same experience that other reviewers had..
cannot give Ansley Eye Care as good reviews as others (and, frankly, as an internet savvy operation -- while I will not accuse, I do suspect -- what if more than a few reviews were by staff?).
Anways, my experience was that while I got a VERY good eye exam, I was pushed into contacts that were not agreeing with my eyes. I had had 20+ years of using contacts, and I was pushed into a different brand at a different wearing-level (monthlys as opposed to weeklys). I had numerous problems from this, and I was religiously charged another 40 dollar copay for as many as three follow up visits to sort it all out. I also ended up blowing about 200 dollars on contacts that are now useless to me.
These two factors make be review this group poorly. As far as friendliness of staff, they are great, and they immediately cut me scripts in pdf format (I do like their technological prowess).
not recommended. Bought a new pair of glasses that were progressive lenses. After a week of wearing them I had to return to Ansley due to the glasses causing headaches. They rechecked the prescription and fitting and the store manager and doctor decided the lenses needed to be redone. When the second pair came in i wore for a week and was still experiencing problems. i returned the glasses to the store and was then told their return policy was a recycling charge of 30% and that the policy was posted in the store. They had the policy on a card, on a shelf behind the front desk. In all my times at the store I was never at this counter or made aware of the return policy. They also took my current pair to check the prescription to the pair they made. I was told the prescription on my current pair was not the same as the prescription I gave them from my eye doctor. I just left my eye doctor today and they confirmed that my glasses do match the prescription.
Highly Recommend. Not only is Michael cute, he is very helpful. He happily resolved an issue with my new glasses in a professional manner. Love my Tom Ford frames Michael!

I really appreciated the candor of Dr. Gupta and both of the office assitants. Everyone was very knowledgeable and very good at listening to concerns. I would reccomend this office to anyone.
Even the scheduling process was easy. I was able to get an appointment in a week. Other eye doctors in atlanta with much poorer customer service were way harder to schedule with.

From the moment I walked into Ansley Eyecare, i was immediately greeted to let me know that someone is there to help. No pushy salepeople, just friendly service. I know a bit about eyeware and was delighted to have all my questions answered directly and honestly.
The prices were fair, and the glasses are one-of-a-kind. I was so happy with my first pair, that I went back a 2 weeks later and bought another. Dr. Gupta and Mike went out of their way to assist me and make sure that the eyeware that I chose matched my needs.
I rate this place a 20/20. What a great place to go! Convenient, great staff, and the best eye doctor in town! This is a MUST on anyone's list. They are extremely "kid friendly" - what an added bonus!
Great Experience. Dr. Gupta was great! She was very thorough, and she took the time to explain the pros and cons of glasses vs. contacts. She and the staff were also quite helpful in choosing glasses for me. I never felt any pressure to buy, but I did anyway. Great experience!
Most Amazing Experience. I went into Ansley Eye Care with a friend a couple of weekends ago because of an ad in David Magazine, they carry Tom Ford eyewear, and I was in the market for new eyeglasses. The gentleman that helped me during my first visit, was very nice, very informative and made great suggestions. I did not make a purchase on my first visit, I?m a research freak, and found a couple frames that were less expensive on line that I ended up purchasing. I went back less than a week later, because they were so helpful, I ended up purchasing a pair of Prada shades from Ansley even though I could have saved about $50 - $70 dollars by purchasing them online, I?m telling you, the staff at Ansley Eye Care provide you with information you would have never thought of asking about. During my second visit I was assisted my Mike (The Greatest, a true Rock Star!!!!), again very helpful and informative. Three days later I was at the Publix at Ansley Mall and decided to visit again to see if they had another frame I saw online. I was assisted by Mike again and he suggested a frame that I thought would never fit my face, again very informative, and Mike is pretty vocal and will tell you if something does not fit well. Incredibly impressive--a fantastic experience. I could not have wished for a better experience. They provide excellent service, use current technology, and take the time to provide a thorough exam and share the results in detail. They were very helpful in picking out frames, and they made sure I was pleased with my choice. They're friendly and completely adept--I highly recommend them.
