One word... OUTSTANDING. Best sushi we have had other than Joe Patti's in Florida and that's saying a lot because Joe Patti's the fish is coming fresh off the boat. The service is great! My husband and I will never eat anywhere else as long as we live in the Atlanta metro area.
Fresh Sushi!.
They recently changed their name from Imari to something else....I can't remember what.
I wonder if the owner changed or not....but anyways, this place serves great sushi. Hands down best sushi around this area. From what I have heard, they import fresh fish from Tsukigi market in Japan. I have never tasted raw scallop that was so good. Their presentation of Sushi is beautiful as well. One thing negative about place is though, the cooked food is so so. My husband and I loooove beef negimaki appetizer so we tried it at Imari and were quite disappointed. But for sushi, once you go to Imari, you can not go back to other places!
Best Sushi in Suwanee. The new King of Sushi in Suwanee - One of the best places for Sushi in the Atlanta area, I rank it right between the superb Sushi Huku on Power Ferry Road (trailing closely behind) and Suwanee's own Sushi Kita.
Food: 5/5. Waitress:0/5.
I've been dining at these guys before they moved to Lawrenceville Suwanee from Peachtree. Their sushi is quite amazing; Always fresh and worth the price. (Especially the "Omakase", which gets you the most recommended dish straight from the Sushi Chef).
The interior design has undergone major changes. The wall at the sushi bar is the beautiful color of Japanese Green Tea, and the ceiling is colored black, & open so you can see the pipes going through, which is neat.
Something that I just don't understand, is that all their friendly/hard working waitresses have been replaced by ones who absolutely have NO idea what they're doing. Their service is just completely unprofessional & lazy. Their friendly owner is no where to be seen, which also saddens me. (I believe he is busy cooking in the kitchen as a chef).
I hope that this is just a temporary thing, and that they get their old waitresses back.
