The Scene
This glitzy Vegas transplant is lodged appropriately in the glassy Terminus building and it's what you'd expect from a Vegas born chain--full of flash and decadence. A dramatic waterfall-encased stairwell drops diners into an open area reminiscent of a modern ocean liner. The service plays up the over-the-top theme, unnecessarily assigning two servers per table.
The Food
Forget the confusing "Global Water Cuisine" slogan-this is damn good seafood, no matter how fancy a title. Smoked salmon pate with pencil-thin breadsticks comes immediately as compliments of the chef. Addionally, the succulent, easy-to-eat crab claws with a grainy mustard dipping sauce and lobster cocktail offer juicy crustacean starters. The most enticing entree is a grilled whole fish that is deboned tableside and well worth the clumsy side show. With its crispy skin still sizzling, the soft, flakey fish soaks up the syrupy tomato essence giving a crunchy-outside savory-inside combination.
Hits: Instantly impressive ambiance and far-reaching seafood selection.
Misses: Inconsistent service--if the entrees costs $35, a beer should also be poured correctly.

We arrived at Aquaknox about 5mins after our 8pm reservations.Mainly because valet was running behind on their $5.00 charge to park your vehicle.Once inside we were seated promptly. I was not pleased with the first table. I asked that we be moved to a booth a wish that was granted by the host. The high lights of dinner were the booth and our cocktails.(Thats it) The lady had her fish in a bag not favorful at all very blah! I had the whole fish which was de-boned at the table by a server whose shirt was very much dirty. Our very own server Mr Karim was lost and acted very GREEN to the business of serving. A other server Ms Ayanna tried to assit us as much as she could, but by then it was to late. Overall service was slow, the food had no taste and I became ill the next morning requiring the treatment of Mylanta and a few trips to the bathroom. We will not be back or will we recommend Aquaknox to others.
Pros: Cocktails, and one of the side booth's
Cons: Poor service, Slow service, dirty clothes on server, and over priced taste-less food

Service was perfect. Great atmosphere. The martinis were amazing (try the Three Olives or Pear martini). The food is outstanding and worth every penny. Go here on a special occaision for a memorable dining experience!
