OMG- I Plan TO attend. This summer I plan To start going to the Art Institute and I have high hopes to being very successful with all that I learn.I feel its a great program. I will go and learn as much as they teach me and retain all of tghe information and use in my career as a superior chef. The staff and adminstrators seem to be wonderful and charming. My greatest accomplishment would be to attend and graduate as a certified chef with training and experience. I look foward to allowing the Art Institute to help me on any way possible.

Not worth it!. I have been at the Art Institute of Atlanta for Vid. Production now for 8 quarters now. After this quarter, I am transferring to a University that has a great TV Broadcasting program and is at a REASONABLE PRICE. I've had a great experience here with the teachers, they are knowledgeable. Although, I don't think they have a very structured and set curriculum for Video. It seems out of order. Overall, I have learned a lot but I do not want to be in debt for the rest of my life from a $90,000 Bachelors degree in Vid. from the Art Institute of Atlanta. When I can achieve the same degree at a University. Which if students talked to there teachers or looked at there syllabus. They would see that none of them have graduated from an Institute, its been a University! Anyways, what has really been a show stopper for me is that I have never dealt with such morons when it comes to the Administration area, Registrars Office and Financial Student Services. Basically, anything with the Admin side. I have to keep up after them for everything and never had so many screws from a college before! These people have mismanaged so much of my paper work and finances. Thank god, I keep copies of everything! The thing that really bothers me is when you confront them or need them to fix it. They do not even apologize for there mistakes. For example. I have had my Veterans education benefits canceled by the Veterans representative in the Registrars office, because she didn't read my exit of enroll form. It clearly stated I was withdrawing at the end of the Spring Quarter. But, she canceled it the day she received it. Its helping pay for my cost of tuition and these people act like its know big deal when they make these mistakes! Also, last Fall I got a large scholarship for $18,000 and the school was given 2 disbursements. I was given one last summer and the other in Jan. But, when they notified me saying you are going to have a large refund check back around that time, I went to the Student Financial Services for advice. I asked them if I should leave the amount in my student account or can I take the refund and pay my loans with high interest? They said that would be a great idea to knock out my high interest loans and they advice me that I could do this. So, naturally I did. Then next quarter I have a surprise! Because I got that scholarship, they sent money back from my education loans, that was suppose to cover my tuition. What a surprise! I have learned with errors like these over my time here, that they do not know what they are doing. They don't do their job, they can't explain why, and act like its know big deal! Also, you never get the same financial adviser. You get to wait in the office FOREVER and get tossed around to someone new each time. Another thing, watch your account. Myself and others have gotten random charges of $100 here and there. Saying its a supply kit, but I am not receiving any supply kits. You just got to be very observant and on your toes here. Bottom line for me is the cost is WAY TO HIGH and the frustration I have to go through with the admin side is enough to drive me away. Its very unprofessional!
