Under New Management, Great Food. Twisted Taco Roswell is under new management and the food is definitely awesome. The creative tacos are always made with fresh ingredients from the Wild Alaskan to the Craw-fish taco you are always in for a good treat. The Guacamole is seasoned perfectly with whole avocado chunks making the side dish the perfect compliment to the tortilla chips.
Stay away & shut them down!. There are plenty of good Tex-Mex restaurants in Roswell. Go to one of them and stay away from this Twisted Taco. I've been to other Twisted Tacos and I like them, but do not go to the Roswell location. I don't have any problems with the food, but my problem is with the ownership & management. I have reason to believe that there have been multiple occasions of drink spiking going on where women have become completely wasted on just a couple drinks. In at least once instance a woman woke up in a hotel room with no memory of what happened. Please stay away from the Roswell location of Twisted Taco for your own safety! I sure hope they get shut down soon!
serves minors. IT SURE IS SPECIAL. ,MY DAUGHTER WAS ARRESTED LAST NIGHT AFTER BEING OVER-SERVED AT TWISTED TACO. SHE WAS WALKING HOME---DRUNK. OH ,DID I MENTION SHE WAS ONLY 20 YEARS OLD. LAW ENFORCEMENT NEEDS TO FIGURE THIS PLACE OUT. ATTORNEYS TELL ME THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS FILED. WONDER WHY IT IS STILL SERVING KIDS? TWISTED IS A GOOD NAME FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
overated but decent. The place isnt the easiest to find. Food was average but good. the staff was friendly enough. Might be back to check it out again
Meh.
I wasn't sure what to expect of this little strip mall Tex-Mex place, but figuring its close neighbor Marco Polo was a smash, I figured it had potential.
The queso was good, and chips warm and crispy. However the tacos were nothing to write home about, despite being a signature dish.
I ordered one chicken sandwich and got a different one, after the server and food runner argued at the table about wether it was our food or not.
The atmosphere was definitely quiet dive bar, with an oversized empty dining room.
Also I felt the "drink 120 tequilas, get a free whatever" was pertty lame and once again fed into societies overwhelming need to binge drink (though I assume you run a tally, not drink them all one night).
Overall, we won't be back.
not bad!. I like their beer selection, and their menu is certainly creative. However, the tacos are often a bit "lacking". The just need to put MORE of the ingredients in them. I haven't been there to party, but it's a decent spot to take kids when it's not too busy.
bland food... servers need help.....
the place is very hard to find off of the exit... i was seated promptly but my server took forever to take my drink order... they werent busy at all... i ordered my food and when i came out to me... it looked as if the cook was in a hurry to get home when he was fixing my food... the tacos i had lacked flavor... the black beans that came with the meal tasted like coffee beans and the server never came ack tom y table to check up on me accept when she tried to be nice to me in order to get a tip... i think not!!!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!!
Fun Times in Roswell, GA.
Had a great time. Was in Roswell for the week and hung out at Twisted Taco whenever I could. 'Decent steady crowd - diners at lunch and dinner, and party-goers later on. Denfinitely a good-looking crowd and there's something fun going on almost every night. Don't miss the monthly mechanical bull-riding night!
The food is quite tasty and unique. I haven't seen a Greek or Thai taco anywhere else. The mix of meats, ingredients and sauces make each taco quite special - I know, I've eaten my way through 13 of the 16 different kinds. The quesadillas and fajitas were excellent as well.
The staff was attentive and service was great. They all really enjoy being part of a great atmosphere and do all they can to keep the fun going.
I read a few other reviews, from many months ago, and did not, in any way, experience any negativity. If there were glitches in the past, they must be long gone. I'd definitely go back to Twisted Taco in Roswell.
Getting Better. This location is pretty new, and it is taking some time for it to catch on; however, I think word has finally gotten out. Don't expect the craziness that comes with the Midtown location--this is Roswell, after all--but do expect to have fun. We went on a Thursday night which was Ladies Night and apparently the night they bring out the huge mechanical b*ll. It was hilarious watching drunken 30-somethings being flung off. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The place was packed and didn't start dying down until around midnight. As always, they have great food and fantastic service.
Choose the Alternative. Twisted Roswell has a more snoody crowd. Although the staff is very friendly, it does nothing for the boring atmosphere. If you're looking for a quiet evening this would be the place to go. If you're like me and you want to mingle, drink and "party like a rockstar" the original twisted is the place to be. Friday is the best day, but Saturday is great as well. So get a crowd of friends, come on down and let's get twisted!!!!! See you there!
