Best seafood in the area. The fried shrimp are HUGE, the oysters are fresh, and the service is extremely quick!

Worst MANAGEMENT services EVER. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME THER IT WAS THE WORST TIME I EVER SPENT THERE. THE SERVICES WAS REALLY BAD. OUR WAITERS HAD LEFT SHE DID NOT COME AND TELL US SHE WAS LEAVING AND WHO WAS GOING TO BE TAKING CAREOF US. WE HAD TO AS THE BUS BOY WHO WAS OUR WAITERS AND THE OTHER GIRL TOOK AWHILE BY COMMING BECAUSE SHE HAD OTHER TABLES. SONE OF THE FOOD WAS GOOD. THE FISH AND SHRIMP WAS GOOD THE FRIED OYSTER WAS HALF WAY COOKED, THE HUSHPUPPIES WAS FRIED HARD. THE TARTARA SAUSE WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL JUST THE TRIED TO SAVE MONEY AND MAKE THERE OWN BUT ITS NOT WORKING. I WOULD NOT GO BACK!!!

the worst management in the country. We had dinner there and the food was is ok. My son ordered a fish plate and, he took a few bites and then decided that there were too many bones so we ordered him a steak. We offered to pay but the waitress said that she would swap out the fish for the steak. When we got ready to leave the nasty manager came out to our table and in a nasty attitude yelled “ We Have a problem he ate some of that fish you have to pay for all of it” . The poor waitress apologized for the nasty manage and her behavior we let her know it was not her fault . We will never be back to that place again that was the most un professional manage I have ever had to deal with.

Really great tasting seafood. I've eaten tons of seafood in my lifetime, especially on the Georgia coast. Walking into this restaurant was just like walking into a coastal eatery. It looked, smelled, and tasted completely authentic. We had good service from a very friendly woman and the food was excellent. My in-laws have been there dozens of times, and they were right: The seafood is some of the best in the city. Not an exaggeration!

WORST PLACE IN KENNESAW VERY RACIST!. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE IN KENNESAW THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SERVICE AND THE MANAGER/OWNER WHICH IS THE FIRST OWNERS DAUGHTER IS RACIST. I WAS TOLD BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE BEFORE WE WENT BUT I WANTED SOME SEAFOOD AND I HAD TO SEE FOR MYSELF. THE REVIEWS WERE CORRECT. THEY ARE RACIST IN THERE. THE NERVE OF THEM TO COME TO THIS COUNTRY AND TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS I KNOW EVENTUALLY THAT THIS PLACE WILL BE CLOSED. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMER. IF YOU ASK SPEAK TO A MANAGER THEY HAVE A ATTITUDE IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR FOOD THEY HAVE A ATTITUDE. IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING THEY HAVE A ATTITUDE. THEY THINK THAT THEY CAN SAY AND DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT AND STEAL GET PAID AND STAY OPEN. EVENTUALLY CUSTOMERS WONT GO HERE ANYMORE BECAUSE COMPETITION WILL SOON BE IN KENNESAW. YOU CANT GET AWAY WITH THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IN AMERICA. TREATING PEOPLE LIKE CRAP BECAUSE OF THERE RACE. THEY ALSO TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE CRAP AS WELL WE HEARD THEM SAY SOME HORRIBLE THINGS ABOUT AMERICANS IN GENERAL SAYING THAT WE ARE LAZY AND THEY DONT EVEN WANT ANYONE THAT IS SPANISH OR AFRICAN AMERICAN IN THERE. ITS TERRIBLE PLACE IN KENNESAW. IF YOU WANT TERRIBLE SERVICE, SUB PAR FOOD THAT TASTE LIKE THEY PUT CHEMICALS ON IT WITH EXPENSIVE PRICES, AND RACIST OWNERS THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

Not So Hot. Went ther again after staying away for several years due to poor food and loosey service. Friends said it had changed so we went. Arrived at 6:00pm and were promply seated. Wait staff was nice and friendly. but lets get to the food and wine. I ordered clam chowder. It came out of a can. Full of potatos but few claims. Tasted bland. Ordered the special oysters (6) 5 were the size of a quarted and only one large one. The oysters wern't attached to thew shell which leads me to believe that they came out of a can. Tasted OK. Their wine is waaaay over priced at $8.00 per glass. Should be $4.50-$5.00 tops. Decor needs a lot of help. No color what so ever. Looks like your eating in a law office. My friends ordered the shrimp and scallops both said food was OK but bland. To heavy on the breading. The three orders ( all the same) were brought to the table 5 minutes apart. Seems the kitchen still is having problems. I my oipinion if you want good seafood, nice decor and friendly servers and managers go to Marlin & Rays just up the street or even Marietta Seafood

BEST. I have been going to the Oyster Cafe/King since I was born. I love all of their food and I have never had any sort of problem with it or the staff. I would recommend it to ANYONE and I always have. BEST SEAFOOD ANYWHERE! and I have traveled to a lot of different destinations and never once have I found better.

Oyster Cafe- STAY AWAY!!!. Stay far away!!!! There was no greeting. The bus boy seated us.Our waitress was literally running the entire time we were there. She was waiting around 20 tables as well as the bar. There was no possible way she could keep drinks filled, food served,and beer flowing at the bar.There was a complaint about food and when she told the kitchen , the manager yelled and screamed at the server in front of everyone in the restaurant. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! This woman should not be working in a restaurant much less be the manager.The table across from us complained about the prep of their food and the manager yelled at them as well. She refused to give even a discount!!!! The food was NOT good so I guess the tiny portion for 16.95 shouldn't be an issue. I am assuming from other reviews that the manager is Mr Paks daughter.He should fire her regardless!!! I left hungry AND angry!!!

Oyster Cafe.
The Oyster Cafe has the best seafood in the southeast.
My family goes there for birthdays, aniversaries, or any other special occasion. We love the oyster special and the new fried shrimp dish. There is a wonderful family atmosphere and the service is caring.The fried shrimp is never too greasy. I agree with Harriet Banks that Sonny and all - you are awesome.

Best Seafood Ever. This is undoubtedly the very BEST seafood restaurant - bar none! We have eaten a super-fine ritzy restaurants, but nothing compares to Oyster Cafe. We found Oyster King way back in the 1980's and have been loyal customers ever since! If you want non-greasy, awesome fried foods, i.e., oysters, extra large shrimp, scallops, etc., this is the place for you. The beer is always SO COLD!! Service is excellent - Keep up the fabulous work, Sonny!! Y'all are awesome!
