The Albert

Hidden Gem in Inman Park

  • Eclectic Neighborhood Bar
  • Daily High Life Specials
  • Family Friendly Restaurant

The Albert is a great new addition to Inman Park. It is an eclectic neighborhood restaurant and bar. It is family friendly in the dining room, while the bar has been recognized as a top spot in the city for 30+ singles, as well as a rainy date spot. The menu offers organic dishes, but is not limited to organics. Some of the most popular dishes include the buffalo wings and sliders. They have some of the best desserts that will melt in your mouth. The Albert also offers daily High Life specials. It is a perfect place to relax and watch a game on the flat screen tvs around the bar. The friendly staff and good food will keep you coming back.

Editorial Review for The Albert – by Jonathan Baker

In Short
The best bars are dark bars and the Albert, Inman Park's squeaky-clean dive is no exception.  The dark, Brooklyn-styled hallway that houses the skinny bar welcomes bar-goers, while the cathedral-styled windows make patrons feel they've discovered a hidden gem. A friendly staff and daily $2 High Life will easily convince a longer stay for an extra round. On a street lined with beautiful houses, hi-end condos, and not a bar in sight, expect a steady stream of neighborhood clientele.

Insider Tips

Know Before You Go

The bathrooms read AL's and GALS's, which can get confusing after a few drinks in a dark place. ALs--guys, GALS--you know.

The Extras

Wednesday is Trivia night, and Thursday is Texas Hold Em' night. Both can make the little bar quite congested if you are not there to play.

Parking

Parking across the street is strictly reserved for local residents only. But there is a full parking lot behind the bar.

The Albert has really good mid to upscale bar food with great service and nice decor. Great place to watch some sports, drink some beer (good tap selection) and get a decent sandwich or gyro. it's about $1 or $2 above other bars in the area - but it's about right.... I'll go back...

Pros: food service decor

Cons: a tad pricey

Consistently great food - not at all your basic pub food. Get the fresh veggies as a side! I recommend the veggie burger and any daily special. Fun atmosphere, definitely worth a trip to Inman Park if it's out of your way.
