Best Spa Around. I'm a man and I'll admit my wife talked me into going to Entebello-A Modern Apothecary & Spa and we had a really enjoyable experience. The women there knew I felt uncomfortable and that the wife obviously made me go bu they made it very enjoyable. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, relaxing music and I have to say I felt really good when we left.
Won't be back, but VERY friendly front desk staff!.
First, I must say that the lady at the front desk (dark brown hair past shoulders) was SO nice! I don't recall her name, but she did tell me. I believe she may be the owner or manager because she seemed to be the only one who was happy to be there. There was another employee doing a manicure at the station near the end by the wall who seemed very friendly and personable with her client. The other employees didn't smile and barely spoke. I was there for a pedicure, and I have no idea of the lady's name because she never introduced herself to me. She was kind of heavy set with a very short haircut, brown complexion. Another lady doing a manicure didn't smile and barely spoke to her client. And, one who was working in another room walked past looking very bored. I guess she was ready to go home.
My polish was done very well and is still holding up. But, my feet still look like they are in dire need of a pedicure. She barely did anything to smooth and exfoliate the skin. I've had much better work done at the cheaper spas near my home ($15 for a spa pedicure). I had to buff and smooth my own feet when I got home. But, she looked like she was bored the whole time she did my feet (not a word to me other than "put your feet up here" and other directions). The lady at the front desk made me feel very welcome. But, because of the other techs and the poor service I received, I think i'll just stick to the cheap nail places. I always leave satisfied with their work, and they always seem happy to be there.

I definitely understand why the employees would be hesitant to hold conversation. I actually prefer to be more quiet. But, that was not the issue. The issue was that she barely spoke and did not even smile. She did not even tell me her name. And, she seemed bored. Friendly service does not have to involve a full conversation. My disappointment is not due to a lack of conversation. It is due to a lack of friendliness. If it were not for the lady at the front desk, I would not have felt welcome at all. A simple smile and introduction would have been enough for me. And...i'm reading that a lack of friendliness is an issue with other reviewers as well.
I apologize that you were not 100% satisfied with your service, and wish I would have known when you left so we could have addressed the issue. I always appreciate any feedback, good or bad since it is how we are able to make ourselves better. In regards to the friendliness of the service providers, that is always a fine line since some clients do enjoy chatting, but many do not, so we try to let the client lead us as to their mood. I will address it with the service provider because she should have definitely introduced herself and you should not have felt the lack of conversation was intended as unfriendly instead of respectful of clients relaxation. I do not know which pedicure you received, so the lack of exfoliation is hard to address, but we do have 2 pedicures that do not include scrubs, and 2 that do so depending on which one you chose that might have been something that could have been added.
Good Products, Poor Attitude. I went to Entebello a few weeks ago because I'm looking for a spa to go to regularly. I had tried out another place, and liked the spa and staff itself, but wasn't thrilled with the results. I saw Entebello on halfoffdepot and decided to get a facial here, in hopes of finding my go-to spa. However, as soon as I told the people at the front desk after arrriving that I was using my coupon, they seemed to treat me a little differently. My aesthetician, who clearly knew that I had found them through halfoffdepot, was less than friendly. She seemed so annoyed every time I asked a questions, and it seemed like giving me a facial was an inconvenience to her. I tried to ask questions about the facial and engage her in conversation, but it was clear she did not want to talk. I am new to getting facials (I recently decided I need to take better care of my skin), and I want to know what is going on and what is happening when different products and machines are being used on my face. The only other times I've gotten a facial, the aestheticians were more than happy to answer my questions and offer more information on their own. Overall, I can say that the results of the facial were fine, but I do not appreciate being treated like a second-class customer. I don't know if it was because of the half-off depot coupon, because she thought I wouldn't tip well, etc., but I was very open to making this my regular spa, and now I will not be returning. The search continues
Wow, I am really surprised you had such a negative experience and truly apologize. We did a very small facial offer with Half Off Depot and have had an amazing response. I am the owner and am at the front desk with my manager on a daily basis and am very sad to hear that you thought you were treated differently because you had a discount voucher. When you booked your appointment we would have had that information, so it shouldn't have been any sort of a "surprise" to the person who checked you in. Also, the esthetician is not privy to how a client is paying or whether or not they have any sort of discount voucher, so it should not have had any effect on the service. Again, I am very sorry for your negative experience and would appreciate your contacting me to let me know the date you were in and who you saw so I can address the issue. Updated Review, Not Happy.
I have been going to Entebello regularly for pedicures for a few months now, going to several different pedicurists but finally deciding I like Bradley the best, and she is who I will be going to now. Last time I went to Entebello, I decided to try out some more of their services so I scheduled a Brazilian Bikini wax, and I also had my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. A girl named Kim did my waxing and I hereby crown her the waxing queen of Atlanta! My brazilian only took ten minutes, and it was practically painless. Also, she got every single hair. And my boyfriend said that my brows have never looked better! I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Feb 27, 2011: UPDATE
Okay, this is simply ridiculous! I called to make an appointment with Bradley and they told me she no longer works at Entebello. So I figured, okay, fine, I'll figure it out and find another nail girl. So I made another waxing appointment-but when I asked for Kim they told me she left as well!!! Entebello must be a horrible place to work with the turnover rate they have! They wouldn't even tell me where either of my girls went! And come on, I'm sure they know. Well that's it. I'm not going back. I'm pissed. Sorry Entebello, you lost what would have been a faithful customer. I don't go for the spa; I go for the people.
I would have been happy to tell you were Bradley is, but unfortunately do not know. Kim is now at the RItz-Carlton and I am sure would love for you to visit her there. If you had asked when you called we would have been happy to give you that information.
Wonderful spa experience.
I have been to Entebello numerous times over the last three years, and truly have never had even an average experience. I've had massages, facials, and nail services done at Entebello, and have enjoyed each and every one! The staff is very professional and seem to be experienced and knowledgeable about the services they are providing. I also appreciate that they tell you about the products they are using on you, but do not pressuring you to buy them mid-facial!
Rachelle appreciates her clients and is known to send deals and discounts via email, which shows a commitment to customer service and keeps me coming back (who can pass up a deal?).
Oh, and the beds here are absolutely amazing - one my favorite parts of the whole experience!
Best Spa in Atlanta. I found this spa via Groupon. Before I knew about this cute little boutique spa I went to Spa Sydell and Natural Body. Entebello is such a different experience! The staff is so friendly they really take the time to talk to their clients and focus on detail. I live about 45 mins away and still make the trip to get pampered. Never again will I go to a big chain after experiencing the wonderful services I have had at Entebello.
Love This Spa. I absolutely love Entebello Spa. When I first moved to Atlanta 4 years ago, I didn't have any idea of where to go for spa treatments. I overheard some a women talking about the spa at an event I attended, so I decided to give it a try. BEST decision I have made. I started out coming for manicures and pedicures. I have since had massages, a facial and eyebrow waxing done. The live about an hour away from the spa, but don't mind taking the drive, because I love the service and atmosphere here. It's always clean, the service is excellent, never a wait for my appointments and never crowded. I would definitely recommend this spa to all my friends and family.
Best facial in Atlanta. I absolutely love this cute little boutique spa located smack in the heart of Buckhead! I can't believe I didn't know about it before. I came in originally with a deal that Groupon ran. About six months later, I had a deal from Half Off Depot, and then just a month later they ran a deal through Scoutmob, which I also grabbed up! They have high-quality products I can't find anywhere else and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Each time I have visited, it has been clean, which is something I really pay attention to. I have had services with Danielle (gives an excellent mani/pedi and fun to talk to), Emiko (a truly, truly gifted massage therapist), and Kim (insanely good facial and wax, and so educated). I have been totally satisfied every time. I have found "my" spa. I'm a big fan of the deal websites, but I am happy to go to Entebello even*without* having a coupon!

I started going for facials a few months ago, and couldn't possibly be more pleased with the results!
The facility is always clean and soothing. It definitely feels like a luxury experience, but the results are what keep me coming back. So far I've had a several appointments with Kim and I feel like I'm in very capable hands. She always takes the time to explain what she's doing, which product is being used, what ingredients are in it and why.... Not just nice smelling lotions that don't produce results. Together we've established a skin care routine that works for my difficult skin type, and I know she's not just trying to sell me a cream.
With my semi-monthly "tune-ups" and her recommendations, my skin has never looked better. As someone who, before a few months ago, had never had a facial, I can tell you that it's an essential part of looking your best. I highly recommend Kim to help you get your skin back on track and looking beautiful!

Great Facial.
I don't usually take the time to write on these boards, but I had such a good experience, I couldn't resist.
My husband told me I deserved some "Me" Time, and agreed to watch our son for a couple of hours and sent me to Entebello Spa for a facial. One of his co-workers had a good experiene there, and he wanted me to have a great day. Wow. How fantastic. From the moment I walked in, everything was just what I needed to escape. Kim did my facial, and her hands were like magic. She gave me some great tips and my skin looks and feels amazing. I was only sad that it couldn't last longer!
