Good News! Mae's is back in downtown Atlanta. Mae's Soul Food is back in downtown! The restaurant is now located at 115 MLK Jr. Dr, near the entrance of Underground Atlanta. Stop by and welcome her back.

will be missed. im a lil hurt, i normally go there for lunch once a week. i love the fried chicken and lemonade. i went on yesterday, jun 2, and they have closed down shop. after doing a lil research i found out that they were forced out due to the building owner raising the rent. they are looking for another location, please let them find a new place soon.

Great Food. I recently started working in the downtown and a co-worker recommended to me and now I love it ... took my daughter 10year old and she is a fan as well.

Consistently Great Food. The Food is consistently great in this little hide-a-way in busy downtown Atlanta. The fried chicken, smothered pork chops and baked chicken are good buys. The lemonade is aways fresh and the atmospehere is very informal and warm.
