I would NOT recommend that anyone waste thier time or money. "Let me start by saying i have been to the original Londzells a ton of times and had a great time! The music was great, the atmosphere was fun and friendly, drinks and service were never an issue. My boyfriend and i live down the street and tried to make it in with friends and on our own as much as possible.

So, when the new Londzells martini bar opened up i was so excited to go by and check it out. My boyfriend, a friend and myself arrived Friday night about 10pm. It was raining so we decided to valet the car, the valet was very courteous. We were asked for our IDs by again a very pleasant person.

We then entered Londzells martini bar and RESTAURANT. We were charged a $10.00 cover charge per person to enter the restaurant. I reluctantly paid the cover charge or entertainment charge which i felt was a bit ridiculous especially considering there was not any entertainment just some club music blaring from the overhead speakers.Oh well we were there to have drinks and a good time right? Not!!!

The hostess advised us to sit where ever we would like. Once we took a seat we were told we actually could NOT sit there. The couch where we had decided to sit is apparently just for the ladies (which did i mention i am a lady). OK no problem, we got up and began to look around for a place we might be allowed to sit when i walked back by the " ladies section" and was shocked to see a male sitting there chatting with a woman. This surprised me because when my boyfriend and i were sitting there chatting the situation seemed very similar with the exception that our skin happens to be lighter then that of the male who was allowed to sit where we were not.

By this time i am just uncomfortable so we take a seat along the wall in the back. I asked to see a martini list ( we are in a martini bar right ?) i was guided to the back of the menu where there was a very small selection of martinis. Luckily i knew what i wanted, i ordered and i quote " i would like a lemon drop martini please." The 2 gentlemen i was with then made their selections and off our waitress went.

About 12 minutes later the waitress arrived with the martinis that the men had ordered and a pink martini which she placed in front of me. I brought to the attention of the waitress that i had ordered a lemon drop martini . She look at me disgusted and replied "you don't want the raspberry lemon drop martini?" She then picked up the drink and walked off never to return again. About 15 minutes later a male did breeze by our table and place a lemon drop martini on it. When i attempted to show gratitude to the gentleman who had done nothing wrong and was simply delivering my drink 15 minutes after the guys martinis were gone by saying thank you, i was ignored.

we waited about 15 more minutes before finally flagging down another employee and asking for our check. Our waitress delivered our check promptly and in record time obviously pleased to see us leaving.

I am extremely disappointed in this place and would NEVER recommend that anyone waste there money here. We spent $70.00 in less then an hour, had one drink a piece and were treated like we had no right to be in this establishment."

Great music! Lousy food. My fiance surprised me for my birthday and took me to Londzell's. Boy did we have a good time! From beginning to end, the music was great! A band called "Impersonations"??? performed hits from Chaka Khan to Michael Jackson and even the O'Jays! The crowd loved it! It was a nice atmosphere and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves...but on another note, the food was not so good. The burger was bland, the fried shrimp had too much breading on it, and the fries taste like a bag of fries from the local grocery store. So I would suggest eating before coming! The drinks were okay...could have been stronger. But the music makes up for the experience!!!! We definitely look forward to returning back to Londzell's.

FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!. A friend had been telling me about this place so we ended up going two weekends ago. I had the BEST time from beginning to end. The performer and his band was wonderful!!! We laughed, we danced, we ate, we had drinks and we socialized with everyone there. There was a mixed crowd and it was like one big party!! I'm not sure what was going on with the other consumers and their bad reviews because I could not wait to tell my friends about Landzell's. I have never been to a venue where the patrons pull the wait staff on the floor to party along with them. My 41st birthday celebration will be held here!!!

Music is HOT, but eat somewhere else before you go!. I checked out Londzell's for the first time this past Friday. The performer was Reggie Hines and he was awesome (he actually had us jammin in the aisles and this isn't a big place). It's a really nice and intimate spot and the staff was very friendly. My girl had the fried shrimp and unless you like too much greasy batter on your shrimp, you better skip these. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were good except the reduction sauce had separated, making it really greasy too. Next I tried the gumbo...the 'chef' should be shot , because it was like something out of a can. To top it all off, I needed some Pepto B. by the time I got home because something I ate there gave me the ol Montezuma two-step. Hmmm, could it have been all the GREASE on the menu. Thumbs up for the music; hopefully they'll hire a new chef...or at least get this one some basic cooking lessons.

it was ok. We didn't eat here but we love live music - espically jazz - so we decided to check out Londzells. I was a bit diasappointed with the jazz - I'm a fan of older jazz and they played a lot of new age jazz. They had a lot of microphone feedback which was kind of annoying. And, dont get me wrong, I like it when the singer tries to get the crowd into the feel of the atmosphere but he/she needs to know when enough is enough. We drank Cosmopolitans and they were good - our service was good but $13.50 for a cosmo is outrageous for an average bar in a shopping center strip mall.

DO NOT GO THERE, EVER. I had the worst experience ever. The food was awful. The owner was rude and insulted me. Do not go.

Wonderful Experience. First timer experience was exceptional. I throughly enjoyed the veal meatloaf. The music was smooth and soothing. Although I waited 30 min for a table, the atmosphere was so inviting, it was well worth the wait. There has to be an expansion very soon. It's a great getaway from the southside of Atlanta. I returned the next night just to make sure I wasn't tricked. A different band not as crowed but the Host is so personable he makes sure you have a pleasurable time.

Pros....:local talent exposure

Cons....Must expand to accomodate the crowds that enjoy the mellow atmosphere

Three strikes you are out. I will net it out, they need to fix the service level (wait time & food) and as a result they will have a great place. If you can't deliver on the menu, just change it too something that make sense. Should be easy. "Good food no wait", Now to the best part. . . the jazz was hot, so go some where else for dinner until they can fix the problem. Give it two more times if nothing has improved, as they say three strikes you are out.

Pros: best live music and atmosphere at an affordable price.

Cons: need to get food quality and service level up

High Quality Music, Great Atmosphere, Sophisticated Crowd. You'd have no idea at all that you are in Alpharetta when you are at Londzelles. There is a sophisticated mixed crowd of people enjoying the food music and full bar, and not a lot of nervous soccer mom's rattling around. A great place to hang out and unwind without the Sports Bar influence of 1000 t.v.s screaming at you the whole time. The focus here is on the music, Londzell the owner is a musician himself, and don't be suprised to see some of the best players in town drop in to Jam.

Wonderful Experience!. Londzell's wow! I attended a birthday party lastnight for a good friend of mine. I was truly impressed with the decor and the comfortable seats inside the booth. There is also a heated tent outside if that is your style. My friends in I admired the personal touch Londzell himself displayed. Upon arriving he opened the door for us and promptly greeted "welcome" this was before I realized he was the owner. The band was really great, they played some surprise songs of oldies for us and were very personal to mingle between breaks. The drinks were delicious, which was a special of the night that Londzell personalized for our birthday honor a "territini" I thought that was a personal yet neat touch. Before the night was over Londzell came to our booth and sat with us for a moment. I congratulated him on having a wonderful place. He gave hugs and handshakes to our table of four. This was such a great experience for all of us as it seems the personal touch and customer service in many venues are gone today. But not at Londzell's!
