“Thanks guys, it was fun and delicious & Calloway, our server was pleasant & courteous as well.”
“would highly recommend this place to anyone that really enjoys bar-b-q, cooked on a grill with hickory chips(the grill master informed me that was the only way to cook ribs).”
“The sauce was unmentionable (I know, it's supposed to be all about the meat, but my meat was DRY and needed something).”
“Decent beer selection and really nice outdoor seating.”
“If its the best in the area I would hate to see their worst place.”
“We were very excited to see the smoker in the parking lot, and the atmosphere is awesome, and we want to go back for drinks with friends.”
“Thanks guys, it was fun and delicious & Calloway, our server was pleasant & courteous as well.”
“The food, however, was a huge let down!”
“How could it not be, a creative yet "meat & potatoes" menu, quick service and a family owned vibe has made this BBQ joint one of the best places to chow down in the city!”

My favorite barbecue spot in the city, hands down. My favorite items here are their beef brisket and smoked wings

This place is known for it's delicious heart attack on a plate BBQ and sides, but my favorite is the banana pudding for dessert!

Love , love , love the lopez and the ribs; cool little joint in inman park
While the Beef Ribs are exceptional and the best in town, don't forget to get the amazing apps. The Lopez: tater tots smothered in brisket chili and gooey cheese.
Great Bar-B-Q - Try the Innovative & Yummy 'Burger'!. Look to Fox Bros. for great barbecue as well as innovative and creative ideas that are delish! Try their "Burger" - proof positive that there can never be too much of a good thing. Heaven on a bun! Ribs are great. Brisket is divine - Texas approved. Lots of tasty sides, all with that Fox Bros. touch. Desserts are homemade and luscious!
not real bbq. taste like the boil, not smoke their bbq, go to daddy d'z or fatt matt's if you want good bbq in atl
Take Me to Memphis. I read a lot about the place and took a road trip hoping for something good but soon realized why Atlanta is not known for its BBQ. I like me meat pink but not my pig. The only place I have ever been to that messed up Mac and Cheese, cold slaw and sweet tea. My wife thought there was no way to mess up banana pudding but they found a way. I bet the booze is ok but other than that I would suggest going somewhere else. If its the best in the area I would hate to see their worst place.
Awful Catering Service!. I used Fox Bros to cater my rehearsal dinner because we love their food and wanted to do something casual. Our delivery time was set for 6:45, at 7:15 we called and were told the van was 10 mins away. At 7:40 we called again and learned that they LIED to us earlier and had in fact LOST our order!!! Finally our food arrived after almost 2 hours of 50 hungry people standing around waiting, and we didn't even get some of the sides we ordered because they didn't have them available. I would never suggest using this company for any food you are depending on for a party of any kind.
Awesome BBQ in a town badly needing it. Chopped brisket fully integrated with bits of flavor-bomb fat, gut-brick chili-cheese tots, hulking bricks of butter-slathered jalepeno cornbread and spicy collards are on many southerners ideal menu. Fortunately for Atlantans, Fox Bros does each of these very well, along with the rest of the Texas-influenced offerings of smoked-out cue. Melt-in-your-mouth could work as an adjective for 90 percent of the menu you wash down with a Lone Star or Sweetwater 420. Inside you'll find typical accoutrement generally uniform of a southern-shack-style meat joint. Old pictures, awards, beer signs etc. adorn the walls though the outdoor patio offers the welcome scent from the meat smoker posted up just feet away. The parking lot can fill up so park along the neighborhood side street if you need a place to park your pickup.
A safe haven for BBQ addicts.
Fox Bros BBQ quickly became an ATL staple. How could it not be, a creative yet "meat & potatoes" menu, quick service and a family owned vibe has made this BBQ joint one of the best places to chow down in the city!
The spicy BBQ wings are meaty, juicy and with just the right kick that guarantees drive any wing-nut insane. the ribs will satisfy the Fred Flintstone in you - and the oh-so-creamy mac & cheese will make you wonder why you never had it so good growing up.
In town barbecue at it’s best..
In Short
Atlanta has a true lack of barbecue identity. Bordered by areas with rich tradition (North Carolina, Alabama, Memphis), and with a transplant-heavy population, we have few places to turn for truly good ‘cue. Enter: Fox Bros. What started as a few nights a week at Smith’s Olde Bar has turned into their own location that feels like it’s been there forever. While they openly wear their Texas influence (beef spare rib, Texas fries, brisket) they don’t forget where they’re located. A rib sandwich on white bread is a nod to Dreamland while their grilled cheese is of the pimento variety. Smoked wings are smoky and spicy at the same time while tater tots (covered with the likes of Brunswick stew, barbecue and cheese) are on a completely new level. Fox Bros borrows a little from here and there, but it’s something that Atlantans can truly call their own.
Disappointed - Over Rated. Probably won't go back. Brought visitors from Illinois and was disappointed. Fried mac was bland ---- well, about everything on the sides was bland. Cold slaw and Pickles were good but who can mess-up a pickle? Ribs were way too charred (smoked) and had alot of fat. Okra was dry. Bloody Mary was too hot. Brisket was okay. Beer was cold. Sorry guys. Maybe this is just Texas style and I'm not used to it.......
Good Intown BBQ. This is one of the better bbq joints in town if you like texas style BBQ. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Good ribs, sandwiches, chicken, stew. etc. Try the Beef short ribs that they have on Thursdays. They gave me so much i literally ate them for 3 days. Good sides include collards, mac n cheeze and hey, they have tots. Can't go wrong there. My only complaint is that they can be a little heavy handed with the rub.
Great BBQ. Recently ate at Fox Brothers and had a nice experience. They have Fat Tire on the beer list, so that balances out the typical beers. The food was tasty and well priced for the amount of food. Nice to have a place to get BBQ near downtown.
