HOLY SMOKES!!!. This place needs to be featured on the Food Network or something. The BBQ at this little dive is far and away the best I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, the folks are friendly, but the food is outstanding. We picked up the BBQ to-go for a college football party, and even our friends were impressed. (I tried to convince them that I made the BBQ, but they finally got the truth out of me about the best kept BBQ restaurant secret in Georgia. Try the vinegar sauce.

What a great little BBQ Reataurant. I have read some interesting posts about my favorite little BBQ house and felt that others needed to hear what I have experienced at Po Boys BBQ.

The food and service are truly second to none. It can get REALLY busy on fridays at lunch, but if you are a little patient, you are rewarded with the best BBQ in Georgia. Don't just take my word for it, the Athens Banner Newspaper rated them as such.

Give em' a try... you'll be happy you did!

Smokin po boys BBQ. Michael and Dianne run a wonderful restaurant. If you are looking for a good time and great food that is reasonable go here! Kids eat free M-W I think from 5 to 8:30 which is nice. We have been going there since 2006 and every time we go in we feel like family. They have watched my son grow to be a very talkative 3 year old.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere reasonable prices to many pluses to not try it!
