“Waiters are dizzy and stupid the food is good but the service is terrible.”
“great place to hang out with friends”
“GREAT FIND HOWEVER is Cigar room about 15 comfy locations and 3 good tv's only 4 people hanging out on a Friday night.”
We won't be back. This is one of the WORST establishments we have ever gone into. The waiter we had was great and on point. BUT when we went to pay our bill with their certificate, they said no. The certificate was a $25 Half Off Depot certificate with NO restrictions to alcohol, the "manager" there said that we could not use it for alcohol at all. He said that the previous managers were wheeling and dealing with Half Off Depot and other things and would not honor it, even though it mentioned nothing of the sort. In this day and age and yesterdays this is called, "bait and switch", plain and simple. I ended up walking out the door, paying the full price. What kind of business is this that will not honor its own certificates? A BAD ONE. They lost future business from us over 3 drinks. Our bill was only $32. It is also stupid management. We will not be back again.
There is nothing more fitting than Fox having a sports bar in Atlantic Station..
In Short
With scores of beer options on tap atop the fashionable formica bar, heaving under the weight of booze galore, it's hard to wager if this social arena in bustling Atlantic Station is more restaurant or watering hole. Sports supporters and their mates tag team this fashionable chain spot for dinner, drinks and diversions. Fans keep one eye on the plasma TVs that beam an ever-changing menu of seasonal sports and the other on their date feasting on the classic bar nibbles like wings and nachos. Gleaming windows offer skyline views of downtown, commerce on the street out front and the bumper-to-bumper traffic parked on the Downtown Connector. Jam-packed tables surround the bar within striking distance and cozy leather couches offer overflow seating as a lucky few spectators steal street-corner tables or huddle with friends in private party rooms.
Disappointed with food.. Went to Fox Sports Grill on 1/4/2009. Ordered Stack of St. Louis Ribs. The meat was not tender at all. I had to use the knife to cut the meat off the bones. So much for the advertised "So tender the meat falls off the bone!" from their menu. This is definitely not worth $19.95. Disappointed with this visit and will not go back.
Good for watching sports..
Service: Poor and distracted.
Food: My "buffalo wings" came out 1/2 refrigerator cold and 1/2 lukewarm.. And by half I mean half of a wing would be cold and the other half lukewarm. Sent them back politely.
2nd try: my "buffalo wings" came out all lukewarm. What can you do?
Excellent number of tv screens. College football was on as it was a Saturday.
Unfortunately, the layout does not protect you from the guy in the place that can only yell when he speaks, and wants everyone to know what the thinks about anything that crosses his mind..
Additionally the layout lends itself to having all the waiters and fellow guests from crashing into your table as they walk by. It happened about 5 times in 40 minutes. Crazy.
Long story short: Go there to watch tv and to drink beer.
Not recommended.
Great Atmosphere. Fox Sports Grill was not the best and not the worst. The food is NOT the greatest at all and the service is mediocre. The best thing about Fox is the atmosphere, ESPECIALLY when there is a good game or boxing match on. I would definitely recommend going there with a bunch of friends to catch a good game and then go down the street to eat.
Worst service. terrible service orders are always wrong. Waiters are dizzy and stupid the food is good but the service is terrible.
The atmosphere 100% The service 80%. The fox sports grill offers plenty in terms of young night life & chic surroundings. However, the service falls short what the atmosphere offers. Of the 5 servers we encountered, 2 receive a 0%, 1 recieves a 90%, the others 100%. The grill really needs to get a more organized manner for drink orders on crowded evenings. Other than that, this spot has all the right ingredients for a HOT night on the town. Located in Atlanta's posh Atlantic Station merchant and restaurant area, the bar is filled with attractive and young jet setters. Definately a tourist destination for visiting 20 & 30 somethings to relax before a movie or a night club.
Decent Food Nice Bar Good Cigar Room.
Went to Atlantic Station to grab dinner and a movie with my girl. Decided to check out Fox sports grill. Atmosphere is nice a little loud but hey its a sports bar. They need to get a pager system instead of announcing names over a load speaker sounds like an amusement park. Food was okay I would stick with sandwiches and typical bar food. Leave the steaks for strip across the street.
GREAT FIND HOWEVER is Cigar room about 15 comfy locations and 3 good tv's only 4 people hanging out on a Friday night.
great place to hang out with friends. I was impressed with the layout and look of bar. The service and food were okay, but why do most people go to bars? To drink! It is a cool environment to unwind and spend time with friends! It is in the heart of midtown within Atlantic Station. You couldn't ask for a better area or location.
