Just Terrific. Recently moved to Kirkwood - never heard of Fuel before. But, man, what a pizza! Great atmosphere, great staff. Lisa the boss is usually around and the pizza ROCKS. Thin and crispy (just how I like), wonderfully fresh ingredients and just simply delicious. Highly recommend. Small inside dining area, large outside, and a nice small bar-type area if you prefer. Just love the place. We're pizza snobs and this is a truly good pizza joint. never seen the unruly kids (maybe just lucky) but we have a 10 and 8 year old and they're converts too. Wife loves the salads. Try it.

Great vibe, fantastic pizza, fab desserts a bonus!. Easily one of the best pizzas in town, and the salads are fresh and delicious, too. Red velvet cupcakes are the tastiest I've eaten, and the cannoli are wonderful. The only thing missing is a whole wheat crust pie - I'm confident that this will come in time, and will be at least as tasty as their regular pizza. Service is enthusiastic and spunky, and the vibe is lighthearted and fun. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can sit on the inviting patio and enjoy the Kirkwood scene.

Good pizza. I got a pizza here for the first time the other day. The crust was baked just right...nice and crispy. They loaded the pizza with really fresh toppings as well. The downside....the sauce didnt seem to have much of any flavor. I'm definitely going back and giving it another try and maybe try one of their specialty pizza's next time.

Fuel Pizza-It does a body good!!. Having grown up near and then lived in NYC my dreams have finally come true thanks to Fuel opening in Kirkwood. The crust is superb and has great flavor unlike most NYC pizza wanna b's. Their sauce is perfectly seasoned and they use a perfect cheese blend in addition to the right amount of each to consistently ensure a perfect pie. Never having had salad on a pizza, I'm a convert thanks to the aptly name Jackio-O, she's definitely a star. Although I am typically a purist, give me a plain cheese slice most days, their specialty pies ROCK. Every salad I've had there competes with some of the finest restaurants in the city. It's a tie for my personal fav, but I rotate between the spinach and arugula most nights!! This place serves my palette well and the quirky humor and consistent attentiveness to customer service from the owner Lisa consistently puts a smile on my face after a long day. My mantra these days; Fuel Pizza does a body good!!

FUEL...one of the best pies in Atlanta!. I love FUEL! Lisa, the owner, is very friendly and makes it a point to remember customers who return to the restaurant. I enjoy thin crust pizzas, and the crust is light and tasty. The toppings are always fresh and the saucy is zesty with a bit of sweetness. It is very small inside, but the patio is nice and it is usually not that crowded. The Caesar salad is one of my favorites...crisp romaine, fresh-shaved parm, and a lovely sauce.

great thin pizza. I like thin crust, so be advised.

Have been there 3 times, all good. The last in early Oct on a week night.

Try the large pepperoni, but put gorgonzola cheese on it. Pie is juicy, not health food.

Friendly staff, nice outside sitting area.

Still no liquor license, but there is a pub a few doors down.

Fuel, still pretty new!. They'll likely get their beer & wine license next week, but we LOVED being able to "brown bag" when we went!

The pizza was very tasty, just be warned that it is the thin & crispy type crust, and not a doughy Domino's/Pizza Hut style crust. I actually enjoy the thin style more. They did not skimp on toppings when we were there. The pizzas were well covered. I had a Chicken Caesar salad & it was chocked full of chicken! We were a fairly large party of 10 and our waiter kindly obliged us with our separate checks. Also, our checks were not "fined" with the gratuity already included. Seating inside is limited, but their patio is large. A word of caution for folks that don't want to be around kids... this is a "neighborhood pizzeria", so there were scads of (uncontrolled) kids running around until about 8pm. Arrive at 8pm or beyond for a more comfortable adult evening!

You can find MUCH better pizza in Atlanta. Not the worst pizza I've had. But close to it. Tasteless, and bland pizza. Very skimpy on toppings, and lousy customer service. Also, parking was very difficult.

Editorial Review. Kirkwood favorite serves it up by the pie or the slice, including the Fuel Extreme, a meat-lovers dream.
