In Short – A hard-to-miss, brightly painted town home serves as beacon for early risers looking for a fruit cup for the morning commute and neighborhood habitués seeking a light lunch later in the day. Per the name, fruit rules here, with a few exceptions. Exotic passion fruit and blackberry smoothies, icy pineapple fruit pops that refresh on hot days, and sizzling grilled sandwiches with turkey and melted Swiss keep locals coming back and provide sustenance to visitors to the nearby King Center.
Great Local Spot

I have driven past Lottafrutta many times, and it never really occured to me to go in. This was most likely because I had no idea what I would find when I went inside. But, needing a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon, my boyfriend and I decided to venture in. The place is very cute on the inside, and extremely clean. They sell a variety of fresh fruit cups and simple grilled paninis. My boyfriend and I shared a traditional style fruit cup, which consisted of fresh cut pieces of mango, strawberries, banana, kiwi, etc., and the "Just Veggin" panini. Both things were delicious, and healthy I might add. The woman who took our order, I assume might be the owner, was very helpful and even offered us a taste of their delicious hot chocolate which they only offer on Sundays. We'll definately be back!
- Pros: cute neighborhood spot with delicious cheap eats, healthy, clean, friendly staff
- Cons: small menu/limited selection
