Atlanta >Optima Uniforms
“the employees are very rude, and very nasty.”
GIVE THEM A CHANCE. I read a few reviews and decided to sign up for city search as well to counter act some of the negative remarks that I have seen. I have shopped at this store when they were Optima Uniforms and they were always pleasant to me. Unfortunately, some of us wait until the week before our school starts and then we leave our patience at home. These people are trying their best to keep the items in stock and I appreciate them. My child attends a public school but I am very persistent that they wear uniforms. My advise to those who are having issues is to consider the time of year that you are shopping and realize that they are doing the best they can and even Buckhead uniforms runs out of inventory and they are not as nice about it. I will say that they did give me a different brand of shirt after I placed an order too but I would much rather have a different brand than nothing at all.
Abysmal. I signed up for CitySearch so I could write about how much I despise Optima Uniforms/Prestige Apparel. I purchased my son's school uniform shirts here. They had to be ordered in, so I paid up front and I was told it would be 7-10 days. Today (about 2 1/2 weeks later), I called them and was told my shirts were ready. I went to pick them up, and since the shirts I originally ordered and paid for were back ordered, this piece of work of a company ordered me WALMART brand uniform shirts instead and went ahead and embroidered them. They never called to tell me any of this or to offer me a choice. When I insisted I talk to a manager, they said she had gone to lunch. The employees did not want to offer me any type of discount because they were open with the fact that it would come out of their paycheck. This is after the employee admitted that these shirts were of subpar quality to the ones I ordered - they still wouldn't change the price. They also have a *no refunds* policy, so I am stuck with these shirts. After a full hour of complaining, they finally called their manager and dropped the price, but on principle, I shouldn't have walked out of there. I was just so mad I took the shirts and the store credit and huffed out of there. I could have bought the EXACT SAME shirts on walmart's website for $5 each and had them embroidered and saved money, even with the discounted price they ended up offering me. I am LIVID and I am personally going to take it upon myself to locate a new vendor for uniforms for next year. They have the worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life and they DO NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU PURCHASE. They are dishonest and shady, case closed.
Worst customer service. I encourage all schools to find a better option than Optima uniforms. First, they advertise that they open at 10am. I got there at 10:10 and no one was there. Second, I've called on several occassions and no one answered the phone. Which means that I made an unessesary trip to the store, only to be told that my order was not in. It is now almost 30 days and I'm told that my shirts will be ready some time "this week". Finally, the staff is poorly trained and simply could care less about customer service. I will definately speak to my son's school about changing the vendor. I wouldn't give them 1 star.
Please dont go. the employees are very rude, and very nasty. They barely answer the phone, they lie about the products they have, so when you get there and waste your gas they wanna say oh we do not have it in stock, and thats if they give you some help. When you come inside the store the employees look at you like what do you want and continue with their conversation.
