Tucker's Terrific Treasure. I will just come straight out and admit that I've become a regular here. And being from Chicago, the idea of eating any pizza that isn't thicker than a phone book is basically against my DNA. But Shorty's thin crust pizza is the best thin crust pizza in Georgia. I usually eat the veggie sandwich, which is stellar. The hummus is also terrific. The guac., the melts, and of course, my kids refuse to leave if not served two hot, melting chocolate chip cookies that are as big as their craniums....always served with fresh whipped cream. For my pizza choice when I break down, look around to make sure none of my Chicago pees are watching, I'll order the Sid Vicious pizza. I suggest you add roasted garlic to your za. Soooo delicious. Watching the staff do their thing while seated at the bar is always entertaining. They also have a unique New Zealand contingent who always greets you with a smile, awesome food and an occasional friendly debate about politics and the latest happening there at "the firm" if you make it clear that you're open to that. Otherwise, they treat you like you have come to eat at their own home. I highly recommend the chicken caesar salad and the cobb salad, although I always order the latter without blue cheese. The food is always fresh. And if someone writes a review here saying they found a brown piece of lettuce, then I'd bet you that they didn't say anything to their server. The staff would have bent over backwards to make it right. I'm very happy to know that I can sneak out of the house to grab some fun, food and conversation at Shorty's so close to home. Don't hesitate to check it out if you already haven't.

Quite an experience!. I came in for lunch on a Monday and the place was packed! I was with a friend and the young man behind the bar kindly offered us to make ourselves at home, and that's exactly what we did!

I forgot our server's name but he was so delightful and very knowlegeable about the entire restaurant. Being my first time, I had a few questions!

My friend and I had the guacamole and we each had a pizza. Both were so good! Our server tried to get us to try the cookies but we were way too full!

You have to try out this place. The pizza is excellent!

skimpy toppings. skimpy on toppings, had the BBking bbq pizza, exposed crust with sause, very little cheese and even less sliced pork. We had the czar salad on the side, lettuce was brownish. Avoid on Saturday pms unless you like Karoke. Im a pizza snob .. this was pretty bad.

Voted the Best Pizza in All of Atlanta - 2007!!!. One of two locations (www.shortys-pizza com), this is by far the best pizza in all of Atlanta! Shorty's adds a touch of class to the normal pizza joint. With its high-top bar overlooking the brick oven and white cloth tables surrounding a corner raised stage, Shorty's patrons can enjoy a superior dining experience.

The menu is top notch! The list of toppings is long and unique with items like bruschetta, artichoke, and the rare green olives. For those that can't make up their minds, Shorty's has signature pizzas such as the This White Duke with fennel-flavored sausage, roasted tomatoes and onions. If one of their own house specials is not to your taste, create your own! Then enter your creation in to Shorty's Pizza Design Competition. If you win, you get $1,000 and have the winning pizza added to the menu!

Outside, Patrons can enjoy their special creations on the wood deck among the picnic tables and umbrellas. For those seeking entertainment with their dinner, Shorty's offers Tuesday night trivia and live music on Friday and Saturday nights (call ahead to confirm).

For the best in pizza, head to Tucker and enjoy a relaxing and entertaining night at Shorty's!

2nd only to Shorty's in Toco Hills. The pizza here is absolutely incredible! The crust is thin, and it's from a wood oven... you just can't fake that taste! I had the Sid Vicious and it was so much meat - yum yum yum!

Be patient with the wait staff - it's hard to get good front-house help in Tucker. The cooks more than make up for it!

yum-o!
