Hidden Gem

I recently had the chance to try out Jan's Bistro after reading some other recommendations online. It's tucked away in a unassuming shopping center and wouldn't impress you if you just walked by it. However, the food and service were excellent. My wife ordered the pork chops for $11 and I had the special which included a ribeye and bacon-wrapped shrimp for $15. The presentation was beautiful and the food tasted fantastic. The food definitely outshines the meager dining room.
- Pros: Great food, cheap prices, hospitable staff
- Cons: "Sandwich shop" decor, no alcohol (bring your own wine)
