Felt ripped off. Called for washer repair on a Sunday evening after recommendation from an acquaintance....was given appointment for next day. Repairman looked at our 3 yr old washer and said we needed a new pump. He would call next day w/cost and when he could install. I was told repair would run around $280 (+$60 for service call)...Thought that was pretty pricey so started looking on internet to find price of part, also called other appliance repair companies...$280 for just repair? That much more $$ than any other quote and the other licensed, bonded repair co. Will never use Ace again!
