In Short
Suspended kegs float above your head in a glass vault, underscoring the slogan "a convivial place to have a pint" and the raucous evening atmosphere at this sleek, three-story pub. Lunches are less frenetic and popular with professionals from the surrounding office towers. The bar tends to get backed up, but the young servers hustle with a smile. Seating is comfortable, but like the bar, the food service is surprisingly slow. Creative Southern munchies like fried pickles, deviled eggs and Georgia boiled peanuts pair well with $2 shorties of draught like the smooth Belgium-brewed Leffe. Easy-to-eat buffalo fried calamari and classic fish and chips make equally good bar-bites. The house burger is smaller for its English muffin bun, and is paired with shoe-string fries and a mini chocolate milkshake. Cap off dinner with a bowl of brown bread ice cream, which evokes Dublin.

The patio is the best feature of this bar (it?s a stretch to say it is a serious restaurant). The food is very mediocre. It's a place to go grab a beer after work, before going out clubbing, or just hanging out with friends. The music is usually loud inside and the multi level set up is disconcerting and makes the place feel small and cramped. It's a young crowd (under 35) and mostly straight but gay friendly. It's in midtown so it is attracts a more open minded crowd than a suburban bar/beer house.

We went there on a Sunday evening and it wasn't all that crowded, yet the service was pretty bad. They were out of several things that we ordered, they brought one entree before the appetizers and we had to send it back and the server seemed annoyed. We had our appetizers and then 3 of the entrees arrived, but the 4th never showed (not the same one we sent back). We asked twice and were told it was on it's way, which we took for Oops we forgot. After about 15 minutes the final entree arrived. The food was OK, but there are so many better options in Atlanta. Lots of local pubs and bars have better beer and better service. I expected a lot more from a Concentrics Restaurant. I don't plan on going back.

Tap is one of those cool places that is easy to go to because the food is great, the people are beautiful and you dont have to spend an arm and a leg, and you don't have to stay up until midnight until the crowd gets good.
