“It has great ambience, friendly and prompt service, but most of all, delicious food.”
“This brings a heartwarming sense to the already cozy atmosphere and is a very special treat for birthdays, anniversaries, and the icing on the cake to an ordinary day!”
“They were doing wine flights that night (i think they do them all week long) that were quite good especially considering that the entire flight of 3 wines cost $6!”
“The food is great, I had the Pork Tenderloin Paladar which was perfectly cooked, moist and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, perfectly paired with mozzarella and basil and fried, crispy artichokes.”
“If I were a first time customer at Sugos, I would definitely order the veal, and get a delicious dessert from Sugo's extensive dessert menu.”
“This is a great place so don't let the suburbian location fool you.”
“Drinks were great, the service was great, it was perfectly priced, and the atmosphere was stellar and romantic.”
“Service is great, it is great value, they go that extra yard when you have a special occasion AND you will bring a "to go box" with you home.”

New Favorite Restaurant.
We had dinner at Sugo's last night and had the most incredible meal! The decor of the restaurant , the attentiveness of the wait staff and the food ( ahhhh the food) were all spectacular. There were four of us, each with a different dish, and there was not a morsel left on any of our plates. Favs were the euro mushrooms, meatball, bacon wrapped dates and Aunt Lena's Chicken.
Don't miss out on this treasure of a restaurant. We're already planning on a return visit!
Great Meatball Dish. Crowded on the inside but the menu makes up for it. Gwinnett County doesn't have many good restaurants. This is 5 star dining if you grade on a curve. Recommended
Good. Only been here once but will definitely go back and try something new.
Great Dinning Experience not Just Good Food!.
Last night my husband & I were in the mood for some appetizers and a glass of wine.
We drove in the snow to Sugo to have a most savory, wonderful dinning experience. The place is getting prettier and pretties as time goes by. We have been there before and love the food. Last night though we were supper impressed. Listening to the specials got us so drooling. We ended up having the Beef Carpaccio Flatbread created by chef John Coley. Prime beef carpaccio (& plenty of it) dressed with crispy capers (Oh boy they were to die for) ricotta salata, shaved shallots & arugula. The dressing on it was a lemon vinaigrette and horseradish aioli. THE BEST CARPACCION IN THE STATE! I had to meet John to tell him he was brilliant for creating this dish. Did I mention the thing was HUGE? We love eating there. Then came the lobster (I licked the plate, and I am happy to say I did so) and the believe it or not the most delicious roasted goat dish. Ok! Ok! We were stuffed but we loved every bite. Diet starts tomorrow!
ABSOLUTELY GREAT!.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! i loved it.. i ordered a good amount because high end italian restaurants just simply dont give much. But this!!! THIS!! is an ITALIAN/GREEK restaurant! The mixture not only brings a pungeant smell to the air but incredibly generous portions of great food
The lasagna was to die for, and HUGE! at first i'll admit, it didnt look big, but it was deep!! REAL DEEP!
the owner, at least it appeared to be the owner came up to me and shook my hand and thanked me personally for choosing his restaurant. It made me feel so welcome. thank you sugo !
i will come again!
Absolutely and totally in Love with this place. Oh, I love this place. In my opinion, it is one of the best restaurants in GA- bar none. They have great food, very friendly staff, great drinks and lovely atmosphere. I usually take my family here for get-togethers and they have nothing but good things to say. Sugo is my favorite and I highly recommend trying it out. You will not be disappointed.
Style at its finest. Comfortable atmosphere, wait staff never tries to rush you.
great atmosphere. Having dined Sugo for years, I can't imagine a more affordable and great tasting meal. Without paying much more then you would for fast food, you can be filled up on their tapas and tasted the likes of calamari, chicken, bread and salad. I would highly recommend Sugo as a great date location with its amazing atmosphere, and the owners could not be more wonderful to meet.
Best italian atmosphere. the food is great and the menu allows you to tailor to your exact tastes.
Fantastic Cuisine. I honestly have never had a bad dining experience at Sugo. The food is autthentic, serving size ample and staff is the best. Ryan--the bartender is the best!!! Ask for the specialty drink "The Sun Also Rises"
