Buyers beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I recieved a 1/2 order of blinds after a wait of 4 months. I never recieved the remaining 1/2 of my order. Although this seller claims to have to best price for his blinds and shutters, the bad communication and late delivery makes the transaction mover of a headach than a deal. Buy at your own risk.

IF you need to reach mark call Robert at 770-947-3540. This is the guy who talks to mark everyday . He is his lawyer . The beast person to reach mark . This guy will convey all your messages to mark and may be he can help you too

Do not refer this company !. I used Mark for my blind installation. He was late for our initial meeting and he developed some what of an attitude b/c I advised that he would need to reschedule b/c my time was valuable and I was in another meeting b/c he was an hour late. Well, he waited until my next meeting was finished and came to my home. Luckily my husband was there and he dealt with Mark, I think he is somewhat more intimidated by men, so the meeting and the installation went off w/out any issues ( I am sure it did not hurt b/c we paid him in full at installation). Well, I received a bill from him months later along with a nasty letter. I contacted him and his bookkeeper via certified mail and via phone expressing how unhappy I was about this collection letter. Mark was of no help but his bookkeeper apologized and took care of it.

Well, I referred a friend of mine to him a year later b/c I did like his product. He was very unprofessional with her (after he received a deposit from her). His unprofessionalism ranged from being verbally abusive to trying to ask her out on a date. WOW ! He even told her that my referral fee would be in the mail as soon as he installed. Well, it has been 6 weeks and I have heard NOTHING from Mark regarding my referral fee. PLEASE DO NOT make any referrals to Mark b/c you will not get paid and it is not worth putting your reputation on the line.

The worst company in the world! The owner, Mark, is a deceitful/unprofessional person. **DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**. Mark, the owner, was very kind when providing quotes/measurements. Once the contract was signed the true Mark (devil) came out. Installation was guaranteed on the day of my closing. Unfortunately, I didn't get blinds on the promised day.....I called and called and called, Mark never answered. I blocked out my number and Mark immediately answered and got irate. I'm unsure if it's his culture but he was very demeaning and verbally assaulting. My response was to either install my blinds or refund the money due to the breach in our contract (him installing them on the promised day). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This was the worst experience EVER! Do not let Mark speak to you in such an unprofessional manner.

Discount Blinds owner not what he seems. Please Be Aware!. Beware of this man. The so called Mark aka Pravin Thakkar, owner of discount blinds and shutters has a scary record. I have done extensive research into this person and need to put this out there for everyones safety. His real name is Pravin Thakkar. He used to be a physician in Indiana and is a sick man, the thing wont allow me to post links. Do a search for pravin thakkar abortionist and theres plenty of results. . You are welcome to look into this yourselves, this is the truth about him and not just someone with the same name.Just ask him his real name. He may lie. . He has spent years in jail also. Please BEWARE!!!! I would not let this man even near to my home. He should be deported for his crimes or locked away for good. Please be safe

Do not expect a return call, an invoice or any communications after you have the blinds.. I was pleased with Mark and the products that I received for the price originally. He would return my calls within 24 hours even, on weekends. We met on July 3 and the blinds were installed on July 7. For the first 3 months I received a statement in the mail. The service was great. I referred several friends. Only one referral credit showed on the last invoice I received (11/07). I first thought that the balance was paid with my referrals. After checking with my friends, only one got the services. I did not retain the mailing address because I depended on my invoices. I called Mark once a week for two months leaving a message each time. I never received a return call. In June 2008, I received a letter from an attorney threatening to take me to court for the balance. I called the attorney and they never returned my call. I began to call Mark 3-4 times a day everyday. He apologized and told me to ignore the letter. I asked him why I did not receive invoices and he said that he is using a new billing system. He sent me an invoice and had a note to ignore the attorney's note. I never received an invoice again until I wrote a letter requesting the invoice. When I received the invoice, to may surprise, the payments that I made did not reflect on the invoice. The account number was changed and not applied because once again he is changing the billing system. I had to work with my bank to get proof of the cashed checks. Now that Mark is using the new billing system with the new account numbers I have not had problems, yet. My referred friends always received invoices and a note that the account numbers were changing. He has hired a company to handle his billing so I am expecting that things will get better and he will be able to return calls because he is less concerned with billing issues. It does not matter because I no longer owe him for the blinds.

BEWARE. THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN A " UNSATISFACTORY RATING" WHICH THEY DO DESERVE. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. WILL SEND INVOICES/STATEMENTS (MAYBE), THEN WILL STOP. WILL NOT ANSWER CALLS OR RETURN PHONE CALLS. AFTER NOT BILLING YOU, WILL SEND YOU TO THEIR ATTORNEY FOR COLLECTIONS. DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS AND/OR GIVE REFERALS. WARNING....WARNING....WARNING!!!!!

Unreliable and Unproffessional. Mark was very professional and persistent when trying to get my business but now that I have paid him off and need repairs/replacements all of sudden is a totally different person thats if I can get him on the phone.

Bad Experience with this Company. This company came out and measured my windows, and I thought I was getting the best quality blinds. Did not turn out that way. The cost was way over market value, and they have been pricing like this to the underprivileged.

the WORST!!! experiance of my life. 4/18/07 Mark came to my house took measurements and a 500.00 deposit. 4/20 my check was cashed. i called him 4/25/ to comfirm my instillation appointment for my motorized blinds and he never answered the phone. I called daily for a month til finally i heared from him stating he had been seriously ill. i took that into consideration and a few days later a man named peter came with my order. THE BLINDS DID NOT WORK!!!! peter said "ill leave them here and come back with the parts", i said ok. weeks go by and my blinds on the floor. im upset yes indeed. so i deside to call another company to assist with the blinds on my floor. and i get them up myself but there not working properly just covering the windows. so im calling trying to see where the hell is peter or mark SOMEONE! so i basically said i got my tint and my 2 shutter and some broke blinds I WILL NOT PAY THE BALANCE owed. ive recieved 2 invoices and the last one has late fees on it., that was funny to me. but the moral of this story is to let you know this man is a fraud and please dont do business with him. the most important thing to him was gettin referals and how i can get paid by each person that mentions my name. the person who refered me did not recieve anything from him yet. Mark if your reading this dont send another Dam invoice to my house our business is DONE!
