Editorial Review for Geisha House – by Jonathan Baker
Matching the other two Hollywood transplants brought by Dolce Group, Geisha House is styled with pop art, a super-dark dining room and a quasi-club feel. The menu is a Japanese melting pot--with good, yet dumbed-down versions of sushi, noodle bowls and all things teriyaki. Cocktails come with an it-club price tag but the massive space and easy-to-like menu make this an ideal group destination.

"we were immediately mesmerized by the breathtaking layout, rich in imagery and color, and the intoxicating hospitality displayed by the staff." (cultured1, Citysearch user)
Low Marks
"Food quality was inconsistent ..." (atlgirlie, Citysearch user)

I came here on a friday night for my friend's birthday with 11 other people. not only was our food delicious-- the sushi was fresh and innovative-- but the service was impeccable! usually when dining with a large group of friends, especially my friends who always like to alter their orders, the kitchen/wait staff always seems to mess up one of our orders, but they got everything exactly right! i like to eat out a lot and am always annoyed when i have to send my food back, so i was pleasantly surprised when everything came out exactly (and better) than expected! it was also not too loud to hear conversation across the table. what a great experience for such a big group! i will definitely be returning here soon.
Pros: great service, especially for a group
Cons: hard to get a reservation!
