New to Hawaiian BBQ? I was too. But the short ribs, chicken, and macaroni salad at Waikikie let me know I was ready to become friendly really quickly.

Interesting Yummies. Never really had Hawaiian BBQ before til this place - and what a great start!

The food is awesome and super-affordable. The staff is friendly & service quick.

Love this food! Must try!. This food reminds me of the food back in Hawaii. Everything i've tried so far has been awesome! I've tried the chicken katsu(my favorite), the short ribs, the mahi mahi, the bbq chicken, the spam musubi(spam covered with rice & wrapped with seaweed), and the fried rice. The macaroni salad is just as good as the mac salad that is found it hawaii and i've tried to recreate it but it's really hard. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. Definitely one of my favorite small joints in Atlanta! Too bad i live so far haha

Best hawaiian BBQ experience. Stumpled upon this place while looking for something different near the office. Great food, low-key atmosphere, and wide selection of beverages. Can be a bit pricey ($8 lunch + drink), but well worth the visit.

Owner is usually found on premise to ask about your meal. WiFi free.

A wonderful, casual dining experience.. I found this place as I was visiting Atlanta for a month and it quickly became my favorite place to eat. They specialize in BBQ pork, chicken & beef, rice and I was won over by the macaroni salad (which I absolutely will not touch at family picnics). The other menu items are equally as appetizing. Waikikie Hawaiian BBQ is very reasonably priced while the food portions leave little room for dessert. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. If you are looking for great tasting, great priced food without having to get all dressed up to go out and eat, this is the place (I just wish they'd put one in central Kentucky).
