half and half – what the f*** is this? When we talked a little loud the waitress came and asked us to tone it down-it's not a damn church, you know! Even in the old Soviet Union you can talk as loud as you want.
Great place. – Very affordable sushi by far in Alpharetta. Not the same quality as Ichiban or Sushi Nami, but if you've got a hankering for some decently priced sushi, you should come here.
When I ordered to go, I called to place my order-- two eel rolls (5.50 each roll) and nothing else. The woman on the phone was very friendly and told me my order would take 10 minutes. I arrived within the 10 minutes, and the same woman already had my order ready and packed. My receipt was ready in seconds even though the restaurant was full. My order not only came with the two rolls, but contained a third (free!), a small box of salad w/ dressing, and a small container of miso soup. And to think-- I only ordered two eel rolls! I paid $10.50 total.
It was packaged nicely, and extremely manageable if you needed to race it back to the office without the contents getting everywhere.
Plus, they have all-you-can-eat sushi for $16.95 on any day (closed on Saturdays/Sundays only), but make sure you eat all of what you order, otherwise you'll be paying $1.00 extra for each.
Reccommend the place to anyone.
Ick – After reading the other review, I went to check it out. The lunch meal deals other than all you can eat were pricey. Two rolls with soup and salad was $11+ (with tax and tip). That would have been ok, except the rolls were probably the worst I have ever had. I got a yellowtail roll, and some of the fish didn't even look like yellowtail. Plus, it was cut sloppily (or maybe with a dull knife?) so the edges of the fish on each piece were all mangled. Not appetizing. Then, it didn't taste good either. I also got a bagel roll. I think they used the wrong kind of fish in it, and it didn't really have any taste. Altogether, incredibly disappointing and expensive. I even left two pieces of the yellowtail roll - I couldn't bear to eat it. Also, in case you are still thinking of going, be aware that they don't have the low sodium soy sauce on the table.
Fresh affordable sushi – We've enjoyed Zutto many times since they opened. They have a $17.95 all you can eat deal that includes miso soup and salad. This isn't one of those places that stuffs you full of rice for their deal meals. Each piece is made to order. Great service, sit at sushi bar or tables. Definitely worth checking out!
