Great Atmosphere. From the moment you park the experience begins with the nice decorative landscaping. Being that I have deep roots in the south and great BBQ, I can say the meat is fairly nice for an establishment that has so many customers. I personally do feel that the food is just a few dollars overpriced in relation to your portions, however Jim and Nick's is a bit of the experience too. My wife and I started our first "date night" and I must say it went well considering that the "environment" accommodated our 2 year old daughter as well. If you want a nice place to sit and enjoy some simple BBQ in a very inviting atmosphere J&N's is the place. It allows you to place a cloth napkin in your lap, but smear the sauce in your face as well.

It's ok...but there's much better out there. If you go here thinking you're going to get the best BBQ in town, that's not going to happen - you're better off going to a small family owned establishment (there are many all over Atlanta). I got a BBQ chicken sandwich here and while I was eating, found probably 7 small bones in the meat. When I mentioned this to our server, he responded "it happens," and walked away. Really? I mean, come on...I understand it could happen, but to act like it happens all the time and isn't a big deal is a bit worrisome to me. Overall, not impressed.

Not quite BBQ. I consider Jim N Nicks more of a burger joint with a TX flair that happens to have BBQ on the menu. They do have good drink specials, and the burger's are good, but when it comes to good smokey BBQ this is not really my first, second, or even third choice. They also have really good bread that comes before the meal and great pimiento cheese!

Can you say overpriced. I considered myself a self proclaimed authority on BBQ. The food is good. But way over priced. Go to Harolds or Fox Bros. And great the real thing without getting ripped off

Best BBQ in Atlanta. My boyfriend and I went in search of good BBQ and found it at Jim 'N Nicks. The experience started from the moment we parked in front of the log pile. The air was full with notes of Blues music and the mouth-watering aroma of smoking meat. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat immediately. Our waitress, Peggy, was the epitomy of amazing service. I wasn't sure which type of rib I wanted, so she brought me one of each style to try. They were both so incredible that I got a half-rack of each!! We were then served delicious sweet, cheesy cornbread muffins while waiting for our meals, which were delivered quickly. Again, Peggy brought us a sample of both types of gravy they serve so that we could try them out. The cream gravy was the best I have ever had and having grown up in the South that is saying something. My boyfriend enjoyed a Red Brick Blonde, which can be difficult to find despite the fact that it is an Atlanta brewing co. We finished up with a noteable slice of Pecan Pie. It was the ultimate BBQ experience and having lived in Texas for four years, that is saying something.

Excellent service -- and really good food too!. We have been this place 5 times in the past 5 weekends and have yet to be dissapointed. The food is great. Just your usual BBQ menu - with great burgers too. They have drink specials that are $6 - including a handmade margaritta that is excellent. Above all, their staff is friendly, polite, attentive, and fast. The level of service is equal to what you might expect at a restaruant 3 times this price.
