Have been to Roys numerous times for business lunches. Service is typically decent though usually quite slow (note they are rarely busy at lunch). Food has always been average at best. Usually try to order something different every time. This week I ordered the fire grilled chicken. After being told it would take a good 20 minutes to cook (the longest on menu the server noted) it was out in less than 15. And it was the driest, most tasteless chicken I've had in a long time. And the veggies it came with consisted of one boch choy bulb cut in half, one spear of broccoli rabe, and one carrot stick. The boc choy was not sufficiently washed and was gritty. Yes I know Roys is known for its seafood but who wants a heavy fish dish and then go back to the office? I'll continue to go for lunch only because of its location. And I'll stick to the pork sandwich.

We have gone to Roy's for years in different cities and regularly choose Roy's for family birthdays and special celebrations. They consistently serve the best seared ahi tuna we've found. We always make sure we start our meal with the pineapple infused Hawaiian Martini (a Roy's special) and are sure to save room for the chocolate lava cake for dessert. Roy's will continue to be the site of special events in our lives.
Pros: service, food, consistency
Cons: not close enough to go more regularly
