Great country soul food with an upscale twist!!. Great service, friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. They always go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The food is really good, right up there with Rathbun's!!

Wonderful new neighborhood cafe. This neighborhood cafe is a great addition to the Stone Mountain - Pine Lake area. Its modern American comfort food is a treat at any time of day. There are vegetarian choices on every menu. Breakfast is served until 3, and signature dishes like the country fried chicken are always available. I had the country fried chicken at the noted restaurant in Serenbe, and I liked the Kingfisher's better. I also love the scramble - plenty of veggies (meat optional) in scrambled eggs. Their grits are the best! There's also a wine bar, and music on some evenings. The portions are large, too.

Very reasonable prices - breakfast under $10, dinner under $20 without wine.

great find, great food & prices. There is NOTHING on this menu you cant love. I shamelessly worked my way thru it all the past 6 months. The ribs, country fried chicken, and salads are amazing- but the nightly specials equally blew me away. The brunch is too much, like in portion size- I have yet to NOT get a to-go box for that biscuit thing they serve. They just started live music- its sporadic- but fun, and have enjoyed a few drink spceials too. The wine list is small but good; the food portions too large, and the prices just right. What more can I say? Great service, and I am humbly a 3X aweek regular. Kudos, I love this place. :-)
