Barbers >Roosters Atlanta's Premier Barbershop
“The environs are comfortable, quiet, and relaxing.”
“Excellent grooming products as well (amazing shaving cream/aftershave).”
“The atmosphere is upscale and friendly, and I enjoyed the free beer.”
“Anyway, I found the price at Roosters to be reasonable, and the service excellent.”
“It will cost you about $5 more than the average in-and-out mass market haircut, but well worth it for a good haircut and good service.”
Best place for a mens haircut.
There are so few places in Atlanta where you can get a good mens hair cut- once you graduate from $6 haircut places where do you go? -
This place is professional, casual, they'll offer you a beer, shine your shoes and will even detail your car if you call ahead-
Don't go for children. Both times I have gone my son's hair was cut unevenly and crookedly. Never again. Not good for kid's hair cuts. Staff seemed overwhelmed and claiming to be so busy. There was nobody in the shop but us. The girl at the front desk is always eating and chewing food both times we have gone. She must be really hungry. I would not recommend this place to anyone, including families with children.
Great Guy's Place. I 've been going to Rooster's since they opened on Powers Ferry Rd. My haircuts have always been great and you can't beat the atmosphere. Leather couches, flat screen tv's, free beer/soda, and some really cute employees (yes, the girls). They are fast, professional, and really provide a good haircut. Even my wife likes how it looks. I used to go to some expensive salon at my wife's request, but now I'm a confirmed Rooster's guy.
Definitely a Needed Upgrade for Me.
I went to Roosters on Powers Ferry Rd. for the first time this week. I had been getting my hair cut at a lower end place, but I've learned that you get what you pay for. Who wants to cheap out on their appearance? Anyway, I found the price at Roosters to be reasonable, and the service excellent.
My wife used the word "hot" to describe my appearance twice since my haircut, and she never did that after a haircut at the old lopsided haircut place!
I think the store is under new management, and you can tell that they are on top of things there. The atmosphere is upscale and friendly, and I enjoyed the free beer. I'll definitely be going back.
Big step up in quality and service.
I tried out Roosters, based on the positive reviews here, and having been dissatisfied with any of the you-name-it chain haircut shops. I am happy to say that I finally have found a barber shop worth a return visit. It was evident that the employees had formal training and experience, and were not simply the next Joe or Jane off the street, fresh out of Cutting Hair 101. My barber was genuinely interested in doing a good job, and took the necessary time to do so. The environs are comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. And the neck shave is the perfect finishing touch.
It will cost you about $5 more than the average in-and-out mass market haircut, but well worth it for a good haircut and good service.
Great Barber Shop with all the Comforts. A Great Barber Shop with all the Comforts... They still do all the Great Cuts and Shaves. I pamper myself and like going to Roosters to get the works. When they start expanding they will really have the crowds. Now it is hard to find. I use Citysearch exclusively and found them after having lunch at Boneheads (next door). Great place to enjoy a shave, style shoeshine & cut... Keep up the good work and do some advertising so people will know you are there and you will make it!!!
A review from a "regular".
I've been going to Roosters for a few months now, since they initially opened. I was googling their phone number, when I came across this site; thought I'd leave a review.
Roosters is modeled after an old-fashioned men's barber shop, but goes much further, by providing an excellent customer experience. How many barber shops have large screen TVs, leather couches, and free beer? In addition to a great haircut, you'll get a hot towel treatment, a shoe shine, and a massage. Reasonably priced. Nice staff. Excellent grooming products as well (amazing shaving cream/aftershave).
Great location, next to lunch/dinner establishments like Moe's, Boneheads, Doc Green's, and PJ's coffee. Close to Wildwood office park, 75/285 intersection. Ample parking.
Coolest barber shop I've ever seen!. Guys, if you are looking for a place to get your hair cut in a relaxing and upscale environment, you have to check this place out. I found them on Citysearch and decided to give them a try. The place looks like an exclusive members only club on the inside, very comfortabe & warm. The haircut itself was great and the hot steam towel treatment afterwards was very relaxing. I plan on going back and maybe getting a massage next time too.
