Fun learning environment, great location,. I have thoroughly enjoyed my language learning experience with AILI. The informal classroom setting is conducive for language acquisition. The program emphasizes conversation skills, grammar and vocabulary. For anyone who would like to learn a language, I highly recommend trying AILI.

Good learning environment, friendly staff. I've taken a few group classes here and they have a nice office with several classrooms that are good learning environments; big enough, but intimate, quiet, and comfortable. We basically sit around a conference table and speak Portuguese! For me, it's an ideal way to learn a foreign language.

Great Atlanta language institute. The atlanta language institute is a really excellent place to learn a foreign language. My Spanish instructor is from south America and that really helps because I feel like I am learning the language as it is practically applied (as opposed to textbook high school Spanish - where you use it with a native speaker and they look at you like you're crazy). It's a decent facility, nothing fancy, but it does the job. All of the classes I've taken so far have been "group language classes" but have always had fewer than 5 people in them, so it feels like very individualized instruction.

Prepare to learn RIP OFF in your chosen language.. IWhile I and my 3 children enjoyed our language lessons at the school, my problem arose with the business end of the school. I live almost 2 hours from the school and woke ill on a Saturday morning. The nature of my illness would not have allowed me to travel and so I called as soon as possible to inform the 2 teachers involved, one of whom was expecting and would not have wanted to be exposed, I am sure. This was counted as a less than 24 hours cancellation and I was charged for it. When my teachers had been ill less than 24 hours, I had been understanding. I did not demand payment for my time or additional classes. I attempted to find a solution through B B B, but the only solution offered by the school was that they now would allow me to take the paid for class and gave me a limited time to do so. While this was what would have made me overjoyed the month prior when I asked for this and it was withheld from me, NOW I had signed up with another language school and was proceeding there and couldn't take advantage of the offer. They would not refund the money. BE AWARE THAT IF YOU ARE TYPHOID MARY, IN THE MIDDLE OF SURGERY OR DEAD AND HAVE PAID FOR A CLASS, THEY WILL EXPECT YOU TO BE THERE REGARDLESS!!! I signed for private classes because they were supposedly more flexible. That is NOT true. Find another school who understands that you are human.

The client has signed and was aware of the cancellation policy which requires 24 hours notice to preserve credit for a class. This is our way of protecting our teachers so they get paid for no-shows. Over 700 of our other customers have no problems with this practice and understand that if they reserve somebody's time they have to pay for it.

In 2.5 years of operating we've had only 1 other complaint to the B B B.

Customer No Care Service. Upon attending my first class at AILI I was uneasy. There was someone that I once had a history with and it made me feel very uncomfortable -- especially with it being a small class room of 5 students surrounding a table. At this time I explained my situation to Eva (manager) and Lincoln ( who repeatedly told me he was the owner for whatever reason).I requested to be transferred to another class. They told me the only way I could be transferred was to pay for the first class I had already attended and pay in full for their second level of Spanish class OR prepay for private lessons at a much higher rate. Either way it would have cost more than double what I had already payed for Spanish level one.(260.00). I was told that this policy was put into place because of the rate that students wanted to switch their class schedule for various reasons.

This matter should have been handled with discretion and customer care especially if I was speaking with " the owner " himself. Please be sure you consider AILI'S policies before paying for classes. In my opinion I had a very valid reason for needing to transfer to another class. It is possible that a medical of family emergency would not be sufficent for a credit, without conditions, from AILI. They do not care about you!

Starting of a class is contingent upon reaching a min number of students. Hence the no refund policy after the registration date. The policy is clear and we ask each student to sign it.

We offered a waver and allowed a transfer on the condition of prepaying for the next level, which would prove that she is serious about learning the language and would secure our "investment" in a long-term client. She also declined switching to private lessons.

Best place to learn a language!. I have been taking classes at the Atlanta International Language Institute for almost 3 year. In this time, I have gone from a beginner to fluent in Portuguese. They only hire the best, native teachers. These teacher have not only studied language extensively but also LIVED the language and the culture.

They are a new and growing school, and they are putting their efforts into growing their reputation not only in Atlanta, but internationally as well. This is not your ordinary language school. Atlanta ILI is the best.

Best language school in Atlanta. The teachers are extremely friendly, yet demanding that you speak the language you are learning. They are great in explaing grammar, and teach in a way that compares the new language with English but still emphasing thinking without translating. It's also the cheapest school around.

Lots of Language, Learning and Laughter. I walked into Mr Gonzalez Spanish class knowing less than nothing about the Spanish language except I wanted to learn this romance language. We stayed with the book, but still time was found to learn words and phrases that were not included in the syllabus. The class was small enough that when one of us made a mistake, it was easy to laugh about it and not feel like we were lacking. As it turned out there was an awful lot of laughter and we all learned from the laughter and that is what the bottom line is...to learn. The time that was needed to address our individual needs was always given when they were known. Now, 10 weeks later, after a very dynamic class that was fed by Mr Gonzalez's approach to teaching, I am eagerly looking forward to the next session.

Good, open admosphere. There are several language schools in this area, but this is the best I've found as far as professionalism and environment. I'm currently taking Spanish with Mr. Gonzalez and I've been very impressed with his style of teaching. My situation was unique in that I had to start the class a week later than everyone else, but the staff worked hard to accomodate me, allowing me to take a makeup course. I also needed some focus on business terminology and they have been able to provide that. Cheers!
