Unimpressed
by MidtownAsh
Went there with a group of girlfriends, and overall was just unimpressed. My mani was average, no parking, staff was just OK, and the whole place felt slightly shabby. If you're looking for a great manicure/pedicure (and dont mind the chemical smell) go to @ Nails Salon at the intersection of Briarcliff and LaVista - went there all throughout undergrad at Emory, and even though I now live in Midtown I still go back as the prices are low, they're efficient, and the manicures last extremely long. Honey is just average, if not below.
- Pros: No chemical smell
- Cons: Pretty much everything else.
Smells amazing
by janedoe1978
It's not your typical nail salon where the stench of polish and cleaning products is overwhelming. Honey smells...well of honey! I love coming here to have my nails done cause feel like I'm going over my best friend's house - the service is great and everyone is so friendly. My nails have never looked better!
Not as luxurious as you think
by adennis5
Finding this place was pretty difficult and when I called for directions, they weren't really helpful. The driveway is super narrow, but I drive a jetta so I managed. Actually, the whole place just felt small and enclosed in. I had to wait ten minutes past my appointment time and when I was finally taken to a chair, I had to wait even longer for the nail tech to finally arrive. I was expecting it to be luxurious, but it felt more like a rugged pampering experience. For example, they use tin buckets instead of the traditional spa jets to cut down on bacteria, but the water gets cold pretty quick, but she did refill it. I liked picking out a sea salt to put in the water- but it wasn't as big of a deal as they make it. This was not worth the $40 price tag for the pedi that I was expecting. I was just ready for her to hurry up and finish. I was going to get a mani-pedi but after she finally finished the pedi-which was nothing spectacular I skipped the mani and went home. This place is far from the luxurious nail boutique they make it out to be
