Oldie but goodie. Place has been around forever, but you can never go wrong by eating at "The Rex". Love their bisquits. Don't judge it by the looks of the building.

Best Breakfast Around. I am rarely impressed with breakfast, but this restaurant is a classic! When my husband first took me there, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about eating somwhere that judging from the outside seemed to be an old drugstore. This place is wonderful, though! The lady that owns it gets in at 4am to make all of the homeade biscuits, gravy, etc. Everything is tasty--it reminds me of my mothers cooking, which believe me is a tremendous compliment!!! I highly reccommend this place...it is full of true southern charm & helpful, personable servers!
