Thai me up. We had the best Thai food ever here, and we went all over the country looking for something as good. We didn't find anything as good....we came back....and they're CLOSED!!! This "E@T2 Thai kitchen" that replaced it Isn't the same....at all.

Decatur institution offers a few colorful twists and turns on Thai basics.. There's nothing tortuous about this tempting Thai treat smack dab in the middle of Decatur. The cool interiors with colorful walls, attention-grabbing treatments, floral accents and snug seating offer a hospitable environment and a nice change from some threadbare Thai locales. The sociable staff rope diners in during both lunch and dinner hours, and offer takeout options for the gourmand on the go. The menu is all color-coded for ease of eating and stacks the usual characters--noodles, soups, curries and entrees. Try the powerfully-flavored, Thai Me Up beef dish and pair it with a medley of sauces. Menu options run the temperature scale from tame to blistering, offering a heat-level for every palate.

a WARM Thai dinner....literally. I had the Tom Kai soup and it was good. The Cashew Chicken a bit too many cashews (even for Cashew Chicken!) and could have used some more cilantro. The service was excellent. I was, however, very uncomfortable throughout the meal because the A/C was not working well. The restaurant had five FANS going to try to cool the space, but lets face it...they weren't successful. It's was a sticky evening in Georgia in early September. I inquired to a staff member and they said they have had trouble with the landlord fixing the A/C for several years. Seems to me it's time to press the lease agreement with landlord for not maintaining the space properly.

Don't get me wrong, the food was good. But I'll wait until winter to return. In the meantime, I'll choose a restaurant with a properly working A/C.

Valentines Day Extravaganza!. I had the most wonderful experience. Prompt elegant service, with the perfect atmosphere. Luckily, I made a reservation not only for the location of the table, but for the complimentary champaign we got for making the reservation. If you are looking for a nice romantic getaway with candle light, great food, and great service, Thai me up is the place. I had the Most Romantic Valentines day I have ever had, Thank you So much for the Pleasure. Will Attend Again.

Great Thai and Amazing Early Bird Specual. I have eaten here twice and the experience has been amazing. I was particularly impressed with the early bird special, offered between 5 and 7 for dinner. Three delightful courses for $10; you can't beat that!!! This is likely the best Thai in Decatur, with superior service to match.

Best food in Decatur (and that's saying something). I'm not an expert on decor, lighting, or ambience, but I know good food, and this is good food.

The food here is entirely different to what you get at most Thai restaurants, with the spicy beef strips and flavorful house dressing topping my list. Avoid the basil rolls and experience some of their other fabulous appetizers.

If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, the squid salad is a good start, followed up by the lemongrass chicken. Finish it up with one of their gelatos and a martini, and you're starting the night well.

what a find!!. I have to rate Thai Me Up as one of the best Thai food that I ever had in Atlanta and I'm not kidding. What a quainted little place with such a classy music and atmostphere and the foods are absoutely marvelous. I had Grouper with apple sauce and my friend had Drunken noodle and it was so yummy. What a find, I definetely highly recommend this one.

Thai Me Up is Fantastic!. Thai Me Up is an intimate and cozy, delicious dining experience! The service is friendly and professional and the food is fabulous! From appetizers to dessert our dinner was exceptional. Thai Me Up also has a wonderful selection of wines - we loved the atmosphere and music too! Highly Recommend It!!

We plan to go back and try more of the selections soon!!

Thai Me Up is yummy!. I love this place! It reminds me of a French cafe but with great service. Excellent food, friendly servers in a beautiful yet comfortable setting. Treat yourself to a great Thai meal at Thai Me Up.
